Very fun game
My six year old loves this game and he can figure most of it out himself. Unlike other games when they don't give you any instruction along the way or read aloud this one does. I really want to keep this one.

The Better than Average Adventures of Tintin
When a reporter and his dog buy a ship with a secret, it sends them off on a treasure hunt of huge proportions, complete with many bad guys to beat up, and a quirky captain who believes he’s cursed.
Such is the tale behind Tintin: the Game, based on the comic book and on the movie Tintin: the Secret of the Unicorn (out in mid to late December).
In this game, you play mainly as Tintin or Snowy (his faithful dog). Your task is to get through several levels by beating up bad guys, solving simple puzzles and finding golden crabs hidden in each level.
The combat is really simple: just wave the Wiimote, and Tintin punches. You also use the waggling motion when you engage in swordfights as the Captain (or his ancestors). But the sword fights are too haphazard and clunky to really be fun.
But there are other aspects to the game. You have to solve platforming puzzles by making ledges appear or by unlocking doors with keys (the key hunt happens far too often in this game).
And there are times when you have to manipulate a sail or pieces of paper to uncover a clue. These may be welcome diversions from the main part of the game, but the controls are annoying to use – especially the parts where you have to turn the sails on the model to unlock a secret compartment.
But the rest of the game is fun to play – and there’s great level design put into each stage. And I had fun with the challenges you can take on after you’ve played the game; challenges like pilot a plane through rings, fight off many pirates, or shoot down a bunch of vehicles from a motorcycle’s sidecar.
The Adventures of Tintin: the game is good, but the lacking controls for sword fighting and puzzle solving drag it down a notch. It’s a definite rent, and a possible buy.
