if you played the original you know what you're getting. I do like the game and the story but the updated graphics were not good. can't wait for the next one.

amazing for a remaster
First off story 9/10, -1 ending could use a bit more impact. great voice acting, gameplay is what you’d expect from a remaster. The atmosphere is what got me the most, I was constantly worried about turning every corner in this game, collecting the manuscript was fun vs most games collectible gimmicks, side characters had their own personality and were memorable. Really hope they make a sequel, I know some people are upset about the graphics touch up, but as a first time player I thought this game looked great. Oh soundtrack is also one of the best I’ve seen, teaming up with a band to add music that connects to the story is always a big up.

underwhelming remaster
I played the original version of this years ago and this one really didn't strike me as much of an amazing improvement from the original. Somehow I enjoyed it less this time around. The graphics are meh, along with the story to boot. One thing I really didn't like is that hard mode is unlocked upon completion and some collectibles are only available in hard mode. I have a real dislike for companies having boners for forcing you to replay a game over and over again sometimes to collect everything.

Clunky but innovative in some places.
Decent game with a so so sorry. using the light as a weapon was somewhat fun, but the fights are quite repetitive.

Overal just a Mid game
I never played the original and was looking forward to trying this but was honestly let down. The game felt overall kind of boring to me. The combat was repetitive and not very challenging or fun. The story didn't really capture me, and the the voice acting felt awkward to me. The best thing I can say is the atmosphere was pretty good, but that alone doesn't carry a game.

use the flare gun alot! trust me
the game started getting frustrating at chapter 5 and 6 but i honestly was enjoying it can't wait for the sequal in october

Plays like a game from generations ago
With that said, there was still fun to be had, because I missed out on it before. I thought there was definitely some tense action but look forward to what the sequel can be made into with this new generation of consoles.
