Fun but too many mini games
I really liked ff7 part 1. It had a good amount of things to do without feeling overloaded. This game is the polar opposite. I had the intention of 100%ing the game but eventually came to realize there were like 1000 mini games tucked away within it that make it not worth doing. I had over 100 hours in it and couldn't wait to be done with it by the time I got close to the end. By then I was ignoring missed side quests and just plowing towards the finish line because of big-time burn out. The sheer amount of mini games and how it forces you to play them played a big role in that. There's just way, way, way too much to do that it bogs the whole thing down. I liked playing Queen's Blood but didn't even finish that storyline out. Like I said, super burned out. There is one redeaming factor tho, Tifa's rockin bod.

a masterpiece for FF7 fans
I cannot be to objective as I love FF7. but I'll try my best. gameplay wise it's an improvement on Remake. it's the fun fast co.nat from before and by adding more character types there is more variety. The characters are what make it great. they are all well flushed out and make you care about them (love or hate) there is less filler then the first but yeah it's there but the fact you like the characters covers that. similar to Remake the story isn't as clear with alot of ambiguity about what is actually happening but the game hits all the highs a FF7 fan wants

like people were complaining about the mini games, but 90% of them are skippable. This game is actually really amazing. Don't hurry up and play it actually savor it and enjoy it.

Too many mini games
I was enjoying the game until I had to start completing annoying mini games in order to progress the story. I'm glad I didn't buy this game.

Core Gameplay is great
Overall the core gameplay is great and an improvement on remake. And the story... well I loved it. On the mini games yes it does have allot but the core game and story don't have to complete everyone to perfection. It's a completionists dream/nightmare. If you just want to experience the story and see the direction it takes you'll get your money's worth. If you want to do everything then buckle up it's a longer ride. There was only a couple sections I didn't really like but overall I greatly enjoyed my time with the game.

FF Rebirth Bloated
this game had a ton of love and money stuffed into it. my complaints lie with the slow progression and all the side things needed to progress. it painfully slow especially for a game that has 14 hours of cutscenes. I think die hard fans will love it but I had to give this an 8. hard to force myself to replay this kind of game.

Good game destdoyed by Bloat
Difficult to rate. the story, visuals, and voice acting are great however the gameplay misses the mark. The game is grossly over-bloated. Way to many awful mini games. Combat is full of action and engaging but the old school attacks often come with mini cutscenes that destroy any rhythm you build up. I'm used to modern game bosses having multiple forms but 12 was beyond ridiculous and worse non-skippable multi-minute cutscenes between phases. After 160 hrs wasted in this game I can't look forward to seeing how it ends in the next.

An Awful Remake
Absoluteky loved the original game, but this is just TERRIBLE! Horribly boring and repetitive combat with a super linear path. No "soul" in this trash at all!

yawn
Very long and boring cutscenes with very few fun parts. It took a month to slog through and really got old by the end. Remake was much better imo
