The year is 2036. A quarter-century after nuclear war devastated the earth, a few thousand survivors still cling to existence beneath the ruins of Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro. They have struggled against the poisoned elements, fought mutated beasts and paranormal horrors, and suffered the flames of civil war. But now, as Artyom, you must flee the Metro and lead a band of Spartan Rangers on an incredible, continent-spanning journey across post-apocalyptic Russia in search of a new life in the East. Metro Exodus is an epic, story-driven first-person shooter from 4A Games that blends deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival-horror in one of the most immersive game worlds ever created. Explore the Russian wilderness across vast, non-linear levels and follow a thrilling story line that spans an entire year through spring, summer, and autumn to the depths of nuclear winter. Inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro Exodus continues Artyom's story in the greatest Metro adventure yet.

Must Play!
I’m not sure why this game is rated so low, but I enjoyed very much. So much that I bought the DLC ‘s. Reminds me of Fallout but better. It has some issues, definitely not perfect. Can’t wait for the next game!!!

be patient
Patience is key at first I’ll be honest I felt disappointed with this game it felt like they focused everything on graphics which by the way are amazing. The game felt a bit slow and dull because it’s so different from the other metro games. The story at first was a little dumb when it first started and Anna gets quite annoying. But after a couple hours in I was hooked the action picks up and suspense along with the story and you actually build attachment to the characters you meet and are apart of your team. It gets quite intense at times with the gun fights you encounter and you literally get a bit scared that you will die lol. and scavenging is key it is a bit of a survival game in a sense so take your time looting. Give this game a fair chance and at least put 5 hours in before you make your opinion because once you hit that mark it blooms.!!

Spookiet Metro Yet!
Our protagonist, Artyom, is convinced he has heard radio signals coming from outside Moscow and that the world is not all dead as believed. He has convinced his wife and his father, a Colonel and a small crew, to capture and get onto a stolen locomotive and make a break for it to escape. Outside they find that indeed there are tribes and factions but must continue on to sneak and fight through some of the spookiest places and horrific situations to finally find their final home. Good game but not quite a "9." More of a horror/survival game. Beautiful scenery and graphics though.

Would Play Again
TLDR: Graphics good, soundtrack good, story good, plenty to search and explore good, stealth good, murder good, pick your path good, resource manage whooboy, hopping over stuff you think you can clear but then get stuck hanging by your rib cage and can't get out because your feet don't touch the ground... not so good. Save often especially before jumping over something that doesn't let you vault it. Everything else smooth, ladders, stairs, boats, nice straight ledges, all good. Would play again. There's a lot to love with this game. There's a solid core quest line for you to follow. Decent amount of side objectives to complete as well. Which gives you some flexibility in how you'd like to play the game. You can speed down the main quests for a more challenging playthrough. Or you might go full over-achiever and search every nook and cranny for loot, which, in abundance will give the player an easier time down the line. Though the unwary player may end up over extending themselves and spend more ammo and resources than they gain from exploration. It's wonderfully multifaceted. Truth be told I hadn't beaten before sending it back. But I got 40 hours of playtime on it in just a few days. (many times progress was halted by lack of skill/ death and then my curiosity for exploring alternate completions of quests/npc interactions.) I'd have given a nine or ten if it weren't for in my desire to explore, I'd try to hop over something and end up with my feet inches from the ground and rendered immobile. Permanently stuck in the air and forced to load to get the boots back on the ground. Stealth is very forgiving on normal mode. Hadn't tried other difficulties. Only example I have is I jumped over a ledge, landed in clear view probably like, ten or twelve feet away from an enemy. Twas at night but landed right next to a lamp thing. Dude was like "Woah what's that!" and before he got the oh out of woah I snuffed the light and he just kinda went about his business.

pretty good game !!
I think its way better than the first two other Metro Games . there are more to do in this game than the other two . they need to make the game for real life than it is ..

Pretty Good, Short, Jump Scares
Once you get use to the complex controls the game starts to unfurl. The story is cheesy but the side missions add a lot. I say side missions but, they are critical if you want to get a "good" ending. My moods went from "this is so frustrating I just want to quit" to "I am probably the best at stealth missions". All in all, even with exploring the game is pretty short. Which is good, because by the end my nerves were shot with the suspense. Good game, worth a rent.

in progress...
I’m still only a few hours in but what I have taken away so far is that the dialogue is sometimes bad, the graphics are nice, but idk if I’m having fun really

It's ok I guess
The story is good, the graphics are pretty good, it's a tough game. The game doesn't handle side missions very well though and it will screw up your ending if you miss one. The game also doesn't handle save data very well so you can't go back and fix your actions without starting the game over. In short not worth the second playthrough to get the good ending.
