Short but beautiful,Sadly, why is it game developers can't just let characters have a happy ending? Modern games have a way to fail at the end, and thanks to our modern day information age, that we live in, you can't hide stuff liken this at the end of the game, and expect someone who hasn't played it yet, to not know of it. Word gets around. Spoiler: ori dies in the End.. Between the short lived life of the protagonist and the rapid and sudden difficulty spikes, which drives us to social media to find the stupid anwser to poorly thought out section in game, only to find out that it is debatable if the ending is worth worth or not is pretty telling in and of itself.. People are expressing their anger, talking about the worst section in the game, which ruins the whole experience for them , and that would be that stupid sand worm.. The Ori series has never really done escape sections very well, you see, I remember the water tree section in the last game.. In fact, I would wager that escape section are the worst part about this series.. Metriod had escape sequences, but they were done better on so many levels, since there was usually only one per game, and you had a pretty generous time limit.. YES, this game is BEUTIFUL and the whole experience should not be ruined, because of one segment.. But then again the people who made this game also worked on AM2R and it had a pretty bad escape sequence too, in fact, and the reason for it was a pretty stupid one to boot....
The game designer has skill, and talent, but needs to work on execution, and not be such a kill joy, by making a segment that is so bad and poorly thought out that it nearly ruins the entire game..
Regardless, it is a decent game and for only 13 bucks it is a great of a deal, but if the game was better it would be worth more.... Oh wait.. 13 bucks is bargain bin?..... . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (sigh) Oh well, try before you buy..
