XIII is a remake of the cult first-person shooter that was initially released in 2003. You play as "XIII," a man without an identity, in a solo campaign with numerous twists and turns. Inspired by the eponymous graphic novel, the game features a completely reinvented and unique cel-shading design. In XIII, players can also take part in fierce multiplayer fights. You wake up, wounded and with amnesia, on a deserted beach on the East Coast. The only clues as to your identity are a tattoo of the number XIII near your collarbone and a locker key. Even though your memory is failing, you discover that you have the reflexes of a highly trained professional fighter. You set off in search of your past, discovering that you played a role in the assassination of the President of the United States of America, and revealing the most astounding conspiracy ever hatched in the country's history.

Warning: Bugs galore
Do not rent or purchase this game as of 10/13. The game is a buggy mess. Shows you just how little these horrible developers care.

Uniquely Fun
This is an old game with simple mechanics. It is also cel shaded and made to be a comic book story. Despite the old gameplay, it was really fun. It took me back quite a few years and it stuck as being a really fun shooter.

This is one of the first times that I received a game same day and putting it back in the mail the same day. The controls on this game is absolutely horrible

XIII stands for your Frames Per Second
Seriously....the frame drop on this game from the PS2 era is completley unnaceptable. The pixelation is awful. I love cell-shaded graphics, the cutscenes are beautiful but the actual game graphics? Ugly asf.
The game is buggy, laggy, glitchy, and pretty nearly unplayable. It WORKS, but it is NOT enjoyable. I played this over a year after release: The game is NOT going to be fixed. DO NOT RENT IT. Just buy a copy for the original Xbox and play it instead. It's not BC, but it's better than renting this garbage.

Hey, I looked this game up on gamefly.com since people are saying that this game is buggy, you could get this game at gamestop for the PS 4 for $24.99. Hope this helps.
