Buying With GameFly
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If a recent purchase is not working as it should, you can Report a Purchase Problem on the site, or contact GameFly Support for additional assistance.
Shipping
GameFly uses multiple carriers to ship purchases, including DHL, UPS, FedEx, and the United States Postal Service. The shipping carrier will be determined for you based on the shipping speed you select, and a tracking number will be sent via email once the item is shipped. Available shipping methods for the items in your order will be presented to you during the checkout process. Shipping charges are assessed on a per-shipment and per-item basis. Pre-Order items will be split into their own shipment and are subject to separate shipping and handling charges from other items in your purchase.
Returns
If an item that you purchased from GameFly does not operate as intended, or damaged during shipping, you have 14 days from the ship date to notify Customer Service for the return process.
Purchases of physical items from GameFly may be returned for a refund provided all the following conditions are met:
- You've contacted GameFly Customer Service to report your damaged or unplayable item within fourteen (14) days of the shipping date. Customer Service will then send you a return authorization number (RMA);
- Returned items are received by GameFly with an RMA in their original packaging; and
- Manuals and any other documentation that were included with the disc or product in their original case where applicable.
If the preceding conditions are met, a refund will be processed in accordance with the following:
- If GameFly receives the returned item within thirty (30) days of original shipping date, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price paid, less any applicable shipping costs.
- If GameFly receives the returned item within thirty-one (31) to sixty (60) days of original shipping date, you will receive a refund equal to 80% of the purchase price paid, less any applicable shipping costs.
Returns of new or used items will not be accepted more than sixty (60) days after the original shipping date.
Pre-Orders
Pre-Orders will be charged to your payment method only upon shipment. Prior to the release date of a product, we will perform an authorization on your payment method for the total amount. Upon shipment of the product, we will capture the funds from the authorization.
You may cancel your pre-order item at any time up until 4 days before the release date of the product. If the product's release date moves from the originally stated date by more than 48 hours, we will send you a notification via email. You do not need to do anything else to keep your pre-order reserved. Should the price of the item increase, you will be charged the price of the item as originally quoted when you submitted your order. If the price drops and you are within the window to cancel, you may cancel your order and submit a new order at the lower price.
GameFly reserves the right to remove an item from pre-order if we have reached the maximum quantity that we expect to fulfill upon release. If you have already submitted your order, your order will remain reserved even if the item becomes unavailable before the end of the pre-order period. In the rare event we do not expect to be able to fulfill your pre-order, we will notify you via email.
