Fun for a bit
What to say about this game...? It's... ok. Having 4 games on disc, When Vikings Attack, Sound Shapes, Tokyo Jungle and Fat Princess, it does offer variety but a limited variety at that.
When Vikings Attack: The premise is simple. A group of villagers battles a group of vikings by picking up objects and throwing whatever is picked up at the other team. Each group gets 8-10 people that move in a circular formation so they can pick stuff up and move. Strategy is mind numbingly simple. When the opposing team is in a group, just pick up an object and throw it to scatter them and repeat. That's it. It could be fun with a friend or online but as I didn't have someone else to play it and no one plays it online, it gets boring by the 3rd screen.
Sound Shapes. It's akin to Little Big Planet in that you can create your own levels, but it's music based. Can't really say much about is since it's hard to describe.
Tokyo Jungle: This was the one game I found the most enjoyment out of. It takes place in Tokyo after a disaster has wiped out the human population leaving animals in control. I haven't seen all the animals in the game but there are hyenas, lions, tigers, deer, chickens, dogs, cats and even race horses. Combining elements of action and stealth, you must hunt and survive. This game is one of the reasons I gave the compilation a 7 as for me the game gets a good 7.8.
Fat Princess: It's a Pikmin type game. Two castles are fighting to kidnap the other castles Princess and each feeds her cake to make her fatter so she can't be carried as quickly. You get 4 classes to fight as: a viliager who's job is to collect resources and can carry the princess the fastest, the warrior who uses a sword and shield, the priest which is a healer and an archer. You can change classes at any point by putting on different hat and you can upgrade each warrior class once by feeding logs and gems in rocks to the hat depositories. 6.8/10. That's about is since I'm almost out of text space.
