Anime-style fighting saga BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger just keeps getting bigger! This extension of an expansion pack builds on the action, characters, and storylines of Calamity Trigger's sequel/expansion, Continuum Shift. Head into the unknown with four new story scenarios or charge back into the events of Calamity Trigger. Familiar characters fight in new ways with a rebalanced combat system that's stocked with new combos and calls for new strategies. Conquer any type of challenge as you navigate dungeons in Abyss Mode, command an army in Legion Mode, or face only the fiercest enemies in Unlimited Mars Mode. Online multiplayer has also been extended, with team battles playable for the first time.

Just Like The Console Version!
First i just want to say this gamee is beautiful. It looks just like the console version. Im not over-exaggerating when i say this. It looks amazing and this is a great game to show around your friends.

Now this game is a complete port of the console version. Unlike UMVC3, nothing in this game has been changed or cut. The background animations move just like the console version and the particle effects of the characters special moves are just as crisp and clear as the character sprites. It exactly like the console version.

Network: You can play online against ps3 players and vita players. You can go into lobby's and voice chat using the vita.

Beginners: For newbie players, there an option before you select your character that allow you to basically perform stylish combos while pressing a button. It works well and it pretty fun if you don't know how to perform advanced combos.

Overall the developers did a amazing job at porting this to the vita. It really an exact port of the console version. Nothing has been reduced or taken out. It literally like the ps3 version on the vita. Blazblue is a tough fighter to get into and master but this game has alot of content and it an excellent port of the console version. If you love blazblue or you're a serious fighting game fan, buy this. Do not even hesitate.

If you looking for a fighting game and you not exactly good at them. I highly recommend umvc3. It just an easier game to get into.

A Fighting game with meat!
From the start this game is amazing. The options will overwhelm you but will also keep you tied for hours on end.
The look and feel are strickly for anime fans as all the moves and story fit its source perfectly. As that goes anyone turned off by anime can still find a great time in Vs mode.
All in all, great game and feels at home on its new system, Vita. This one is a keeper.

It's all too much
I found this game to be a touch on the difficult side for my liking. You're given tutorials to help you learn the system, but even those can be a bit too challenging. In the end I just resorted to lowering the settings to make the game easier, and was able to have a pretty good time with it, but it feels like I'm missing out on valuable parts of the game by not really knowing how to do the more complex combos. It's especially discouraging when an opponent will pull off some nasty combo that makes me say, wow, I'll probably never know how to do that.

If you're really into fighters I can see how you might get a kick (pun intended) out of the complexities this game has to offer, but for me it was just too much.

Techinical "Anime" Fighter
I would first like to write that Graphically, the game is amazing! It plays well without a hitch and the tutorials REALLY go in depth here and teach you how to play. However, when I got into the game, and finally found a character I could get into, I found the gameplay to be someone closed off- not a ton of aerial/throws/specials for my liking. I will say that I'm a big fan of Marvel v Capcom and that type of fighter is more of my style. The game is definitely worth the rent- but I played about two hours with this and was bored. Good controls, doesn't make use of the touch screen though, which is ok for a fighter! Very good port of the original
