Here's your chance to play as the world's funniest...assassin! The Merc with the Mouth gets top billing in his first video game. Go inside the squirrelified mind of Marvel's most mercenary mutant in play that's packed with swords, bullets, and maybe even the occasional chimichanga. Battle to protect mankind as you hack, slash, and blast through enemies with Deadpool's unmatched destructive skills and follow it up with his unrivaled sense of whacked-out humor. The game comes complete with dueling narrator boxes straight out of the comics and cut-scenes where that infamous mouth speaks in all of its unfiltered glory. Encounter other characters from Deadpool's corner of the Marvel Universe, including Cable, Domino, Psylocke, Death, and more.

Deadpool is simple, and that's okay
First off, I want to say I am a HARDCORE Deadpool fan.

That being said, Deadpool: The Game is not revolutionary and there's nothing fancy about it. If you are a fan of the Deadpool comic or at least familiar with it, you will LOVE this game like I did. If you have never heard of him, move on and play something else.

There's not much of a story to speak of in Deadpool: The Game. A lot of people have complained about this, but here's the thing: IT'S F'N DEADPOOL. High Moon Studios didn't make a game this simple by accident. They did it to be IRONIC. Deadpool himself is simple(and insane), thus his game should be simple like he is. Honestly, it wouldn't FEEL like a Deadpool game if it was more complex like Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden.

The graphics aren't horrible, but they're nothing to write home about. Sound effects are appropriate and music choice is bland. The actual combat itself is quite plain and simple. It is your basic hack-and-slash/shooter, although you can string together some pretty awesome and gruesome combos.

And that's another thing. Plenty of blood and gore courtesy of Deadpool. And boob jokes. Lots and lots of boob jokes. And weiner jokes. And poo jokes. You get the picture.

Honestly, with all of the game's faults, the only thing about it that bothered me was the lack of hidden collectibles or unlockable costumes. No nothing. Unfortunately, this leaves the game with little replay value.

But again, as I said before, if you're a fan of Deadpool, you're going to love the game for it's humor. You can tell High Moon Studios had a blast making this game. And if you have a childish sense of humor, you will have a blast as well.

Deadpool is hilarious!
Deadpool is a great game! It's funny, action packed, and has one of the most hilarious kinds of storylines ever! They really need to make a sequel! It gets tough at times, but it's absolutely awesome! I say buy it if you are a Marvel fan, and Deadpool fan for sure! This game put the biggest smile on my face! I couldn't stop laughing! All in all I rate Deadpool 10 out of 10!

Fun but repetitive
Deadpool had the potential to be a really good game. The concept was good, the art was amazing, and it was really something different. It ended up being a button masher that was repetitive and tiresome.

Great For What it is...
This game was hilarious....I can't remember the last time I laughed out loud so many times playing a game. The gameplay was linear and not spectacular, but I still had a good time playing it and was hungry to keep playing. Bottom line? Great game to rent, and this is Gamefly, so it was perfect.

Deadpool
This is a pretty sweet game. I just started playing the game and when you get to tour deadpool's apartment I instantly loved the game. because it is right off the bat funny and they nailed deadpool right. the fighting in this game is pretty sweet and I like how deadpool insults you if you make a mistake or get him killed and stuff like that. deadpool is a cool character and i'm glad that they finally made his game. some of the bad guys are tuff but you can always run away and regenerate your health. if you have not played this game then I recommend you do
