Not User Friendly
This game has a ton of potential but the lack of detail impacts things for the user. There are no details on how things work. You don't have maps, details of how power ups work, nor special abilitt of each character. Its a figure it out game that doesnt make sense.

good game
This is the first for me when playing this game since it just came out. The only problem is, if you went to a game store such as gamestop, 99.99% of the time that gamestop will not have it, unless you pre-order it. They won't have any games like this unless you pre-order it. And if you didn't but they just happen to have a copy or two, then your pretty lucky. But overall, gamestop won't have this game. If you want to try this game, I'd probably recommend getting it from gamefly, then go on amazon and buy it. That's what I did, and I also heard it's a good game from what my cousin says

Improving with updates (Online co-op & characters)
Since the release, some updates have been released, such as fixing bugs and adding online co-op to play with 4 people total. New character packs and free characters have been added as well. The game can be repetitive like a Lego game, but for any Funko Pop collectors or fans of any of the franchises included in this game, there should be a good level of enjoyment. No complaints on this game at this point, whereas before, the bugs were really annoying!

It could have been good....
But the combat is boring, characters all do the same thing. Streams of enemies just constantly come at you like a old 80s game, which was fine back then but not this kind of game. Can't really enjoy the worlds much around that, other than a few parts in between like the detective mode type of game. No couch co-op either which this could have made it a little better.

wanted to like it BUT
it's vague tutorial and lack of proper guidance during missions makes it not much fun. plus all the puzzles seem to be just carrying one thing from one place to another and that gets old fast. I did enjoy all the pop culture stuff but was not enough to save it for me.

Had potential, fell short
To be honest, I heard this game would be similar to Lego games. Yes, smashing and shooting does show elements of a Lego game, I felt like it wasn't good when the game forces you to shoot at everything . I played 2 worlds and got bored. Hope they learn from this and do better if they make another one.
