The real-time strategy game Kessen showcases amazing graphics, animated cutscenes, and expansive battlefields. As a Japanese lord fighting in feudal Japan, you'll muster troops and consolidate resources. Each game begins with a political phase in which you befriend other generals, make enemies, or even refuse to do battle. Once the combat begins, you'll attack or defend while managing your soldiers' morale and loyalty. Historical battles are recreated faithfully, with stunning sound effects and a powerful music score, while animation scenes recreate the character drama of the period. After finishing the game as Ieyasu Tokugawa, you can play as his opponent, Mitsunari Ishida.

good strategy game, gets boring though.
kessen is a great strategy game for it's time. it has average graphics, good gameplay and sound, and perfect voice acting. my only problem it will get boring after a while and you will think '' why should i go through all that again.''
