The Bat is back, and this time, he's small and plastic! Take control of the caped crusader - or his famous sidekick, Robin - and work your way through a Tim Burton-esque Gotham City. Learn hand-to-hand combat techniques, make use of fantastic toys like the Batarang, and change suits to give yourself special powers. Batman's extendable cape allows him to glide long distances, while Robin's tech suit gives him the ability to take control of other gadgets, such as an RC car. Use the connectable bricks to solve puzzles, like building ladders to reach new areas. Defeat classic Batman villains like the Joker, the Penguin, and Catwoman, then play as the villains and experience the levels from an all-new perspective!

LEGO Batman is a DS gem
The game play is phenomenal. You will enjoy this game until you achieve 100% completion. The only thing lacking is a mid-mission save feature. However, the mission lengths are cut down to good times.

If you like LEGO and/or Batman, you will love this game.

This is definitely the best LEGO DS game to date, but it is also one of the better DS games in general.

Could be better, but please rent
First, allow me to say I am not a Batman fan at all. All I know about it is that Batman and the Joker fight against each other. So I went over to my friend Andrew's house and played the Wii version of this. Now, if only I had a Wii,I thought, I could play this all the time. So I went to the store to get it for my Xbox 360. Sadly, it was out of stock, so instead I got the ds one. After a few minutes of building and kicking brick, I noticed some flaws and good stuff.

The good stuff: Huge character selection
Fun touch-screen features
Villains mode

The flaws: Stuff in the store is WAY TOO overpriced
You get bored easily for it being too repetitive
Below average graphics

Recommend?: It's up to you

Overall: Rent, don't buy.

A better thing to get would be the Wii,Xbox360,and the Playstation 3 versions. But if you want to get a DS LEGO game, choose from the following: Lego Star Wars TCS Lego Pirates of the Carribean or Lego Indiana Jones the original adventures. If you play one of the three, you'll want to keep.

lego batman is a copy of indiana jones/starwars1/2
the main reason that I
rated lego batman 3 is because mainly the same thing as lego indiana jones and lego starwars. the only difference is that you can be the bad guy on the level two. I mean you might like it. but I mainly dont like this game because you have two keep doing the level over and over. to tell the truth whenever I figured that out I turned this game in the same day I got it.
