When all remains lost, more adventure is waiting to be found in this Lost in Blue sequel. Your survival skills are put to an even greater test as you help teenagers Jack and Amy survive on a mysterious (seemingly) deserted island. Play as either character, using the DS touch-screen to perform double the number of activities found in the original! Monitor your hunger, thirst, and stamina as you explore the island, battle wild animals, fight the elements, and survive natural disasters. New mini-games like archery and carpentry join returning favorites like cooking and tool crafting. You can even play the mini-games wirelessly against a friend.

Rent Sims castaway instead!
This game is similar to Sims castaway but almost
impossible to play. It takes too much wasted
materials to figure out how to do anything.
You have to eat alot to fill up and you can't
usually find enough healthy food to do so.
If this idea appeals to you just rent castaway
instead. It has a similar story but plays way
better.

Bad. Just plain Bad.
First of all, I have not bothered to finish the whole game, so I don't know much about the combat system or about a good storyline.I do know that this game is bad. The idea of being stuck on a deserted island seems appealing, but Konami made a HUGE mistake that messes up everything. The 2 characters, a boy and a girl, digest their food WAAAAYYYY too quickly and food barely fills up your stomache. I mean, a good fish would make me full-but in this game 4 fish only recovers about 50% at most of your stomache! Creating fires and cooking is charming at first all of them implementing the touch screen, but you need to do it so many times that it soon becomes a daily chore, like washing the dishes or taking out the garbage. Also, your partner is only helpful at some puzzles that require 2 people, but other wise he/she is a complete parasite. You can always make them come with you but it's pointless. If you leave them in the cave, you'll have to leave a bottle of water behind and some food- excuse me I meant a lot of food that doesn't require cooking. Otherwise, she dies and you have yourself a GAME OVER. There is one part of this game that is charming to me though- and that is exploration. Exploration is what makes the game interesting but your increasingly decreasing energy, water, and food handicap that like a iron ball tied to your legs. also, fishing which will become a major activity to gain your food requires a spear and if you make one and use it, eventually it breaks. Then you have to search for the materials to make another one and hope you don't starve too much while looking for it. I have only played a little part of this game, so I don't know too much about it, so I can't review too much about it. I can tell you though, that at best you should rent and taht you shouldn't buy this game.

Fun if you like adventure AND sim games, not great
If games like Harvest Moon make you go "Uhh... This barely qualifies as a game." and the adventure genre as a whole makes you go to sleep, then there is no way you will like this game.

I actually really do like it. I've grown bored of Harvest Moon games but this one is fun because it's much more directed. Basically, you're on a desert island and everything is your responsibility - You are the only person who save your own life. Your life, and that of your partner.

I never played the first game, but I understand that it's mostly the same; Except now, you don't have to play as the guy, and the woman is just as capable. They have minor differences, but that doesn't make it fun to play twice.

A lot of this game will be spent collecting food and water. After that, if you want, you'll upgrade your living conditions (All you need to make a jerky shelf is lots of tree vines and logs, of course!) Finally, and this is the adventure part of the game, you'll explore and find a way off the island yourself. There are quite a few ways, and they all take a bit of thinking.

One of the best parts of the game is the relationship with your partner. Unlike Harvest Moon characters, her relationship with you is rather complex, and depends on many factors. It really does feel like you two are growing closer together as the game goes on.

If this idea intrigues you, you'll like the game. If not, skip it.

It's simply boring
I rented this because it looked like it had potential to be a really good game. However the game is slow paced and simply not that intresting and really tedious. Yeah its sort of intresting to survive on your own but its just not as fun as it should be. Seriously don't waste your time with game

Busy work
Ah yes lost in the blue 2, it sounds nice to fans of the first but you may as well just play that one again. The same problems that the first lost in the blue had are just the same in this one. Instead of making the game more interesting they just gave you new characters. You will find yourself gathering food all day just so you can go to sleep on a full stomach and wake up hungry. The game becomes more of a chore then anything you could call fun. That being said if you are new to the game it will provide mild entertainment, for those looking for the sequal no such luck
