There is a new game in town over in the Mushroom Kingdom - four of them in fact! Join Mario and friends for a game of basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, or hockey in this sports collection for Wii. You're on Mario's turf. So not only will you have to deal with environments like the Wario Factory that impact play, you'll have to play by Mushroom Kingdom rules! The games are filled with power-ups like banana peels, Koopa shells, and mini-mushrooms that give you an edge. And each character has their own special moves that make them almost unstoppable, like Yoshi's rainbow dodgeball attack or Mario's fiery slams on the basketball court.

Mario Mix Hits The Spot
With all these mario spinoff games, it is hard to tell what is good, and what you should rip into pieces. Mario has recently dissapointed me. Can anyone say, "Mario Party 8?" After playing that, my faith in Mario was wavering. Then, along came Mario Sports Mix. Wow. Just wow. It has 4 great sports. The dodgeball was awesome, I loved smacking around Peach and Wario with dodgeballs. The volleyball was fun, and later in the game requires a bit of strategy. Hockey was repetitive, and the goalies were horrible. Basketball was cool, I loved being able to throw homing shells at the hoop. After you've beaten the game, you can go back and take secret paths, which give you more characters and difficulty levels. I would give it a 10, but the hockey lowers it to a 9. So, if you are a Mario fan, or a sports fan, try it out.

Mario Mix Rocks
I love the game. It is awesome and cool. I like the different kind of games to play. I love the basketball, hockey and soccer. I love Party Mode.

Kids like it
Kids liked it a lot, a nice mix of different sports than other collections. More cooperative play (less fighting between them) which is nice.

I really love this game. I love all the games and the tourtaments. I just wish they would have a little games to play. Otherwise it is a great game to play!!!!

Great game
Mario sports mix turned out to be a really good game many characters extremely colorful and lots of fun especially in multiplayer. The game could get fustrating and could get really boring after you unlocked every character and did everything a couple of times.

Mildly entertaining
I am not a big fan of the Wii. I rented this game for my kids, which are 10 and 5 years old. However, after playing it for a few days I was hooked! If you can get past the normal Mario is part of every nintendo game scenario, this is a pretty fun game to play.
