The most comprehensive basketball simulator in video games is back for another winning season. NBA 2K17 is all about realism, whether that's straight-from-real-life graphics to player AI that you could mistake for a living opponent. Along with the realism, NBA 2K17 is also about individualism. The game's developers have worked hard to represent each player's unique style in the game, so your favorites from the NBA will play with recognizable flair. You can also map your own face onto a player, fully manage your franchise and season, try out the single-player MyCareer, or challenge the world by taking your game online. MyGM even lets you add extra franchises to the league, whether that's the return of defunct teams or franchises you invent yourself.

best NBA game since NBA 2K13
The last three NBA 2k games were good, but nothing compared to NBA 2k13. 2k17 takes what was good about 2k13 and 2k 14 then enhanced it TEN FOLD. The story is very up lifting and genuine, not depressing like last year's story mode. Everything you do whether good or bad; on or off the court will effect your playing time and value. All in all if you missed the old rough and tumble NBA 2k games of the past with great gameplay and a great bonus of a story mode. You'll like this one.

Little better than last years.
2k never seems to disappoint. Every year they put out a premium basketball game & this year is no different. The facescan is horrible tho & why is it limited to my player only? You should be able to put your face on created players too.(if it worked right anyway) If you like basketball, I'm sure you will like this.

Half A Product deserves half a star
If i could give 1/2 a star I would. I've played 2K since it's birth. This by far is the worse one. And since last year's edition wasn't that great, that says something. The shooting controls are awful. The bodies of the players look like NBA Live. No Dream Team after my pre-order. This game is just unfinished.

Unplayable
I been having trouble trying to install it. I can't install any of the 2kgames unless I downloaded the title for purchase from the Xbox store. So I can't even give it a decent rating because I wasn't and still haven't played the game. It's a common issue from what I have researched. Called EA Sports but that number is not in service or maybe the phone isn't on the hook?? Who knows. Maybe I can give it a try next year.
