Only Multiplayer
The game has no campaign which isn't a big deal for me but I really wish it did, it has so much potential to do so. Multiplayer is very competitive, way different than anything like cod. No one camps and each character has its own unique abilities with none of them being overpowered than others. Blizzard does release little origin stories of the characters which is pretty fun to watch, in my opinion there the best short animated clips out there right now. Fun game everyone plays the objective and rarely anyone is selfish in the classes they choose.

Awesome Visuals BUT...
This game is visually stunning, my curiosity was stirred by the "cartoony" style of the game BUT that was it for me. i admit i come from the call of duty/ fast paced FPS , so this game was an entire new realm for me. i went into this game with no bias at all. i gave it a shot and had fun for the 1st 3 hours. however it started to lose its spark for me. its not a bad game at all it just wasnt for me. When you are in the lobby looking for a game, they set you up to practice while its loading so you are playing a small round while the real game is loading or looking for enough players. That turned me off as i get invested in the gameplay then switches off and have to start over in a new match. if you can turn that off i didnt even bother to look. Like i said great game just wasnt for me.

Good at what it does
It's a fun game don't get me wrong but the sparse options are why I gave it a 7. It's a multi-player game and as a multi-player game it's amazing, it has perfect multi-player and I give that portion a hard 9 maybe even 10. However personally I like to take a break from multi and work on a campaign, co-op, or even bots. For the limited options and modes I'd give it a 7 just based off the fact it's a $60 multi-player only game.

Awesome Fun
On the surface you may not think this game has much to offer with the limited game modes but in the few game modes it has it executes. The characters are fluid and each has individual characteristics that makes you want to learn how to play each and every one of them. The gameplay is fast, furious and fun. Plus, Blizzard has committed to free content updates in the future. I've really enjoyed the free Competitive Mode update as it adds some intensity to the matches.

It's got something really going for it and thats... playability... it's fun. it lacks with a campaign, however I think it's a solid game.

Right for the right people.
Overwatch was fun for me, and it got old fairly quickly. I'm sure I would have stuck with it if I found a good consistent group to play with online, instead of random people who don't work as a team. This is a team game, it's basically just the raids from WoW or other MMO's. It's a good game, just not for me.

Meh
For all the talk about this game, it seems pretty limited. I actually enjoyed what little time I actually spent in a match. I spent more than enough of my overall play time is "skirmishes", which is a nice segue between matches, but boring all the same. The weirdest part of it was the game itself literally has a mind of its own, constantly leaving and joining modes without warning.

What a waste
Blizzard released epic cinematic movies to promote this game. Built complex character stories into the ads. Showed deep pre-existing relationships between characters. Finally on launch day what do you get?! Go shoot each other. Rinse respawn and repeat. No campaign mode, no character development, no story, no plot. Blizz stock with what you're good at. Diablo, starcraft, watercraft, you tell stories for Pete's sake... This is team fortress 2 with cooler skins. What a waste.
