Trackmania Turbo is a fast-paced arcade-style racer that offers endless variety and head-spinning action. It's heavy on stunts and tricks and features a ton of different tracks across four different environments. You'll be able to defy gravity, race indoors, jump through hills, or drift your way through narrow tracks. Turbo's Campaign Mode offers multiple difficulty levels and lets you unlock 200 tracks as you progress. Double Driver Mode lets you team up with a friend for a new take on multiplayer where you work together to pilot a single car! If you want to get creative, you can try out Trackbuilder Mode and design your own tracks. You can challenge the community when you share your creations.

Fun...yet also awkward and unfulfilling.
This game is fun, but the tracks are sometimes really awkward lack flow. At times it plays like a total arcade outlandish booster enhanced racer-which is what makes it really enjoyable. Hitting jumps and flying hundreds of feet through the air is the highlight of the game. On the other hand, sometimes it seems like its trying to be a serious race game. It's frustrating in this sense if you like race games that flow like Dirt, or Grid. In those games it's easy to learn the controls, yet hard to master. Not to mention the tracks are realistic in those games. Here, you don't get that same type of consistent challange where the difficulty goes up with your learning curve and is well balanced. In this game you can go from one cartoon style track where you're being dropped in to a quarter pipe, to a track that's semi realistic and so maddeningly frustrating in the worst way (i.e lack of control on inclines and strange lines where you totally lose control and go flying off the rode into ravines or into bodies of water) that you end up wanting to turn it off. The single player mode is just a race against time/ghost cars of either your best time or the preset times for bronze, silver and gold so you're not competing against a true ai set of other drivers. The online racing is decent, but gets boring after so long for me. I didn't get addicted here the way I have with other race games. This is worth a rent if you like racing games. The scenery is gorgeous and takes advantage of the next gen engines nicely. All in all I give it a 6. A good game to rent when you're waiting on an anticipated title and you have the three game plan and need to fill a spot.

Fun game in short bursts.
After this first game came out to the DS, I was waiting for a new version to come out to the newer systems. This game is a blast and very challenging with each new level. You have 200 tracks and an endless possibility with the track editor. A great rent and maybe for the right price, a good keeper!

Fun in burst!
This is a great looking game, it plays incredibly smoothly and is tons of fun! It's problem is how repetitive it is. It's fun in burst, but can become boring at times.

Awkward!
Trackmania has potential to be a great kids racing game. Some unique parts... BUT it's just strange! The tracks are weird. You go back and worth from track to dirt road/other. Need to avoid objects/holes that appear out of nowhere sometimes! Top that off with annoying voice sounds. Countdown switches between languages. Whenever you hit something it says "what are you doing?" and "easy on the framework" (over and over)! Make sure to disable that in settings!

decent without depth
Feels like it should be a free to play game. Not quite as fun as Trials.
