Lions and tigers and business plans, oh my! The popular Zoo Tycoon franchise gets the handheld treatment for the first time on the Nintendo DS. Create and run your own zoo in this simulation that challenges you to keep your animals and customers happy! Every decision is in your hands. Buy and adopt animals from every continent, including lions, giraffes, and tigers. Please your guests by building strategically placed hamburger stands, gift shops, and more. Make smart choices - if your customers get cranky things could get ugly. And if your animals turn on you, it could get even worse!

ZooTycoon Review
Overall, this game is a good game if you give it time. I was frustrated with the game in the beginning because I didn't know what things stood for and how to make the animal cages fit the needs of the animals. After playing the game, and figuring it out, I figured out enough to get the game going and actually playing it. The downside of this game is that all the internet information is not about how you play the game, but how bad the game is. I would suggest giving it a chance and if you enjoy simulation games, you'll like this one...once you figure it out!

Nothing big
This game is good in every single category that it can be judged in. I just find that the game really does not translate to the Nintendo DS from the PC all that well.

When you first start playing this game it can be entertaining, but as you progress througout the game it can be bland. As you continue to build your zoo, it can be boring just putting up exhibits and watching guest reactions. Within a few hours I was bored out of my mind.

Wow...
I had this game for one day before trading it back! It felt half finished, no music, lame. Please rent before buy!

Liked It, Did Not Thrill Me
I thought it was pretty good. Although it didn't make me jump up and down, and that's what games should make me do. I don't know I liked it but it wasn't my favorite. I think you should try this game if you like animals. This game is not for everyone. But I would say yes to it.

No where near the PC version
I was kind of looking forward to playing this game when I got it. I popped it in and played the tutorials. It was fairly simple, but very hard to control. The touchscreen was not very responsive and the graphics were near NES quality. I definitly prefer the PC versions of this game.

Didn't expect this.
I have to say wow. I had no idea this game was so hard to control. It is also really boring.I was really exited when I got this but, I sent it back the day I got this game.I think you should not play this if you have already played Zoo Tycoon 1 or 2 because you will realize that this is a somewhat waste of time.If you have not played Zoo Tycoon 1 or 2 you might like it. The best person to play this game is someone who starts at the worst game to the best in the series.
