Tom Cruise stars in an action-horror flick that reboots the famous Mummy franchise. Cruise plays Nick Morton, a dashing and loveable rogue who makes money by stealing treasures from ancient archeological sites. While on an expedition to Iraq, Morton uncovers more than old pottery. He accidently unearths Ahmanet, an Egyptian princess who was buried underground for thousands of years. Now free of her tomb, Ahmanet goes on a rampage in the modern world by attacking London, raising the dead, and destroying all who cross her path. Worst of all - she has a monstrous interest in Morton and wants to turn him into an instrument of her otherworldly evil.

Wut
Don't fix it if it ain't broken... very confusing storyline with uncle Toms magic touch. Way to ruin a good series.

Better than the others
We liked this one much better than the others, much more action and suspense. We liked them all and would watch any of them, but, this one kept us on the edge of our seats from the beginning. Great movie.

Basically a zombie movie
I love the Mummy series with Brendan Fraser but it is definitely not even related to those movies. I ended up giving it a 3 because there is a slightly interesting story but it quickly turns into a ridiculous zombie movie. Not impressed.

Loved the original
This is just sad. Thoughtless slapstick with very flat and disappointing performances coupled with a ludicrous story make this a complete waste of time.
