This is the definitive version of the craziest action-RPG-shooter ever made. The Handsome Collection contains both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, each with all available DLC and add-ons included. The Handsome Collection lets you blast through the entire Handsome Jack saga, with hundreds of hours of guns and comedy to enjoy. It looks and plays better than ever too. Both titles have been retooled for the PS4 and Xbox One. Along with the improved graphics and performance, you'll be able to play four-player split-screen on the same monitor - a first for the Borderlands series. Don't worry if your save is from an older console. You can pick up right where you left off by transferring your Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or PS Vita save file onto your new system in the same console family.

great remaster
Graphics and visual effects improved across the board. Nice to see what this game looks like on more modern hardware. Game play is the same and it's better to play with friends.

The epic trilogy returns...
I know some of you are sick and tired of games being remastered. I also know that some of you enjoy these classic games returning.
This collection includes two games with two epic story's, Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
They both come with all the DLC's for free, it also includes those cool lookin skins and heads you always wanted. Both of these games come to next gen with 60fps and 1080p graphics. There are 120 new achievements to unlock. This great for those players who love to get ever single achievement!
Here's a tip for those who are new to Borderlands: Play the side quests as much as possible, You might be able to get a Legendary weapon ;)
This is one collection that is worth your money and time! I highly recommend for those who are Borderlands fans (like me) buy this collection. I promise you that it's worth 60 bucks, or 50 depending on how you buy it.
Happy Vault hunting!

Review
This collection is a great pick up for those new to the series, but might not have much to offer for those veterans. I personally got it because I never played the Pre Sequel before and thought it was a good deal to play it upgraded and with all the DLC. However, I have hardly touched Borderlands 2 due to my excessive playing of it beforehand. There is nothing new added to it (unless you never played any of the DLC) and I really don't have any friends who got it so I got bored fairly quickly. Another major issue that I am facing currently is MASSIVE frame drops on occasion when opening my inventory menu and trying to navigate it, causing a lot of frustration when trying to equip a certain gun or shield or what have you. There is also some frame drop when just traveling around the different areas during missions. This is going to be fixed, but for now I would say either wait, or not play Borderlands 2 when you pick it up until it is fixed. The Pre Sequel isn't facing that issue yet from my experiences. Other than that, as long as you have friends to play with and/or are new to the series entirely, I highly recommend you pick this up. Just remember for all the veterans out there that have played both games a lot and want to pick it up just because it's a Borderlands game and remember having lots of fun on it when they completed things for the first time, that nostalgia never offers a lot of replay ability and I guarantee that you will get bored very quickly.
I give this an 8 merely because I have played Borderlands a lot already and am starting to get bored of the gameplay, but if I was new, I would give this a 10.

Pandora and Elpis couldn't look better
Idk what is up with people and all the negative frame rate remarks when the majority of every one else is playing it fine. Go get your console checked out, and if you're playing online with a buddy, one of your guy's connection obviously blows! Amazing story, colorful and vivid graphics, TOP NOTCH FRAME RATE, and of course the hilarious dialogue and unforgettable characters. Plus the replay value is through the roof if you actually know how to play the game and work the loot system. You just gotta be smart people! I'd give it a 10 if Borderlands 1 was on here. Other than that, perfect for me and many others. You have mental issues if you think otherwise.

Frame Rate Problems
Fun for what it is, a loot chase with some laughs along the way. Not as smooth under the hood as I would have hoped though, plagued by constant performance issues. A patch is supposed to be coming to address it, but this is what I have come to expect this gen. Thanks for the push back to PC gaming, Gearbox.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection
Lazy port to Borderlands. The Pre-Sequel in my eyes and mind it its in 60 fps but it looks like its in 30 still with just an upgrade to gameplay will not be buying this. just play xbox 360 version or pc version of the game.
Have not played Borderlands 2 yet but its probably the same. Just lazy big time Like most games Lately.
We have new gen systems but every dev is treating new systems like old ones still.

Not a fan
The story is cool. But the objectives are repetitive and to me seems difficult to figure out whats going on. Hard to tell what your fighting. Shooting is horrible only thing that helps is autoaim. Ither than that you have to get lucky to hit something. Again not a bad story or bad looking game just not my type. Guess i like more of an action adventure. Not fo here fight that move on. Go there fight that move on...get oxigen watch out for weird monsters ....move on. Love rhe dialog i enjoyed the smart alec remarks and taunting language.
