Commandos: Strike Force

Lot's of fun, especially in difficult mode. The spy charector was the best! Graphics where so-so but, all in all, a great way to spend your time if you like the more realistic FPS's.

What it lacks in graphics,it more than makes up for in fun factor.Good control config (although I think all FPS's should have customized controls).I love the fact that you can switch between characters in most missions.The stealth kills with the spy(my favorite) & taking the uniforms are great.The snipers "slow mo" view is great for that perfect shot.The green beret is just an animal(he could take out a whole squad by himself!)!The sound could be better.The framerate seems to slow down at critical times.Overall a must try for all FPS fans.I'd like to see it with the PS3's engine.

Commandos: Strike Force is a surprisingly good game. Set during WW2, you play as three main characters, a spy, sniper, and a green beret. As a spy you can infiltrate enemy compounds and eliminate the nazis silently. You can even dress up like a enemy to make it a little easier. As the sniper you can take the enemy down from hundreds of feet away. As the green beret your infintry with about ten comrade's. The graphics are low quality, but the gameplay makes up for it. If this game was released a few years ago it probably would have made greatest hits. This is a must play game for shooter fans.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS GREAT. I PLAY ALOT OF FIRST PERSON GAMES.THIS GAME MADE YOU THINK AND KEEPS YOU ON YOUR TOES.

the oline play was better then reg play. i think it should have been 3rd person view. Other then that it was o.k. game. Many other better titles to play at. But if you are a fan of WW2 shooters you will want to play and test this game out.

after playing the third misson of commando strike force i noticed that the game was a little weak and of base because of the quick alert time clock which insn't bad but if not done the misson is over but far most what i didn't like is the stealth mission with the knife the silencer pistol would have been better the piano wire was kill was ok the taking of the uniform was to me was weak also the switching of soliders ( sinper )was a bit hard after servearl attempts and the save after an completed misson doesn't automatically saves the game you have to save the game and with such long misson's you would think there would some save point's in the game but no i think that the game would be a little better if kept true to the wwii form of just killing and finding secret document's and blowing up thing's truck's bridge's and killing top men i also think that there should have been a little more place's to find your supplies ammo first aid i didn't complete the game because after the mission with the stealth and alerting the enmeny with the quick clock i just got of it may be because i'm hooked on the old fashion wwii games lock and load and shoot too kill and now some of the good point's about commandos strike force the cut scences were pertty good oh yea before i forget the map was fair and now back to the good of the game the weapons were good with a good aim ( the red circle ) the sniper rifle with the aim ( scope ) was good the blood shot's were good the sound affect's of the soilder's been killed was real good the reload of your weapon was good and quick the first aid was good the gas mask was good along with the gas gernade's espically when you have to kill alot of the enmeny at one time and the hand gernade's had alot of punch ( good kill ) also the hit meter that let's you know were you are getting hit from and in what direction i also liked that it didn't take alot of bullets to take out the the bad guy's i did like you can run i give this a 5 ok out of 10 maybe

This was quite possibly the lamest first person shooter I have ever played on the PS2. The game is totally generic, pedestrian and poorly executed. The graphics are bad, the characters are annoying, and the gameplay is ho-hum. If this game were a food it would be unflavored oatmeal.
