Project Nothing Special
As a FPS it is a pretty fun game, it offers a lot of weapons and has a pretty interesting storyline, and the controls get kinda iffy sometimes they take a bit to get use to. Other than that, it's a well put together game.

The online mode isn't what I thought it would be, not many people playing and the weapons are seperated into job classes which aren't very fun, and the levels are small and maze like aswell, although they are some tanks and bi-pedal robots you can use they d on't have much travel space. so it takes the fun out of it. Overall, it's a game to rent for a while beat and pass on. I wouldn't buy it.

Worth Playing
Snowblind is definitely worth playing if you like shooters. While it is an older game there are still people online playing which tells you that it is still quite playable despite the date.

The Future Of War
Too many people hate this game. It is so fun, especially on line. I consider it a PS2 version of Halo. But you get different abilities, such as turning invisible, heat vision that shows you exactly where enemies are, and even ballistic shielding, which makes you invincible, all you can use for just a short period of time. This is one of the most addicting games I have ever played. I love the missions, the weapons... It's a great game. I don't recommend this for everyone, but I do recommend it for anyone who likes shooters. Rent It!

Far Too Easy
This game wasn't very challenging, but it's addicting. This is more for people who have just gotten into video games. It's not a MUST RENT/BUY but you could rent ift if you liked the other Eidos Interactive games.

Review
There were two main problems I had with this game: 1) there were too many accessories and cybernetic enhancements, and 2) I found it hard to find my way around the level maps.

Other reviews/summaries may boast about all the different accessories and cybernetic enhancements one has at one's disposal, but I actually found this to be a hindrance. The enhancements were kind of useless because the game severely limited how long you could use them, and you had to find items to restore your bio energy instead of having the energy slowly recharge. This wouldn't be such a big deal if you didn't need them at key places in the game. If you use all your bio energy up too early you can have a tough time later if you can't find the recharge items. Furthermore, it was too much to think about all the different accessories and enhacements to use when you're in the heat of battle.

Secondly, it may have just been me, but I found it hard to navigate the maps. The compass thingy doesn't help much when you have multiple floors and only one way to get to key locations. I ended up going in circles after dispatching all the bad guys just trying to remember how I get to the particular room that would take me to the next level. Kind of annoying.

Other than that the game was a standard shooter. Nothing too terrible or extra special. In other words it wasn't exciting or refreshing enough to make me forget about the above two pet peeves I had with it. Only played a half dozen levels before returning it.

A great rent for FPS fans.
If you’re looking for a solid FPS and you can get past the dated graphics I highly recommend renting Snowblind. At first glance the game looks like your standared run and gun FPS. But the game actually does a really good job of setting itself apart from a lot of other FPS. And one of the ways the game does this is by giving you a number of different abilities ranging from thermal vision to slow-mo to, name a couple. You have an energy bar below your HP bar which lets you use your abilities. It’s a neat idea that gives the game a different feel then a lot of other FPS. Another thing that sets the game apart from other FPS is the games flow of the game. None of the games levels feel forced or like they were just thrown in as fillers. The games doesn’t feel too short or long when you finish the game you feel like the game was just the right length. Snowblind has a better story then your average FPS. It’s nothing that hasn’t been seen before, but it gives the game another layer and helps make the action more enjoyable. The controls are as good as your going to get for a FPS out side of Mouse and keyboard or Wii. The only thing That hasn’t held up well over the years are the graphics they look like cr&# when compared to 360/PS3 games. But if you can forgive that I think most FPS fan will find Snowblind to be a solid rent.
Be safe all and happy gaming.
Good FPS
Good game. Graphics are good and character models look pretty good. The game play is fun but a little short. There is not a lot of replayability except online gameplay is very fun. Nice weapon selection but the controls are a little clumsy and the a.i. is not the brightest. Overall a fun game.
