Developer Quantic Dream is known for ambitious, narratively driven games, and Detroit: Become Human more than lives up to its reputation. The setting is Detroit in 2038. The status quo is being rapidly upended by the invention of androids. More than just robotic servants, the androids behave as if they are alive, throwing the world into chaos. You can play as three android characters central to the story. Kara is trying to adapt to a strange new world. Connor is a special police investigator, hunting deviant androids for the human police force. Markus is the revolutionary leader of a group of androids trying to liberate his "people." The choices you make in this rich narrative affect the outcome of the story and the fate of the city.

Great experience
Very heavily narrative based, so if you don't like that kind of game this one isn't for you. However, if you do, this is a great experience. Phenomenal character development and an engaging story. Really a great game.

Amazing in depth storytelling
I could of used a little more action and exploration. This company is the only story telling company worth spending your money on.

wow
Best story telling I played that sucked me right into the game since the Last of us. Detroit has more depth and plot than most movies and tv shows today lol. Perfect example here why gaming is leading the entertainment industry.

choices matter
Choices matter in this game. Violence or peacefully. Present & Represent your people how you choose as you lead the androids to freedom. Freedom is the ultimate goal. Its up to you to decide how you achieve this goal. A must play game. 9 out of 10 stars is well earned for this one

Great Rental
This game is heavy on narrative more so than active game play. Nonetheless I found the story and characters to be very well done and enjoyed playing through the story.
You the player will simply walk around an area and search it, choose dialogue options, perform quick time event button presses and watch your choices unfold in the story.
I didn't find the game to be good at explaining the controls or did many of the choices feel intuitive. But because I found the world to be well done, I became engrossed in it. That led me to restart it after playing through half of the game to try new choices and I found I had a better understanding of what I was doing and what I experienced each time was somewhat significantly different.
The game is a solid rental and something you can play with other people and enjoy making the decisions and discussing them together. I was pleasantly surprised by experiencing Detroit and I give it a high score for being a well-made narrative focused game.

i loved this game alot best 10 out of 10!
i played through the entire game and loved kara and alice connor and markus alot cuz i felt that they were trying to prove that they r alive and just wanna b free, the game made me wanna help the androids and it delivered a heartwarming moments between humans and andriods. i like how the game tested me with honesty and kara and alice i began to warm up to alot and made it a happy ending for them and i'm glad i did. the game really tests u to make good decsions and based on them the characters could die or sacrifice themselves, i hope david cage makes a sequal to this cuz i feel it was his best work and it paid off!
connor's voice was not annoying by the way
