no fun reminiscing
Goku's adventure here is a fighter type game in which you beat up a few enemies before allowed to move left or right (and toward and away a little bit) down a path that sometimes turns and do some platforming before repeating. There are bosses in most levels.

The fighting is substandard with only one button for attacks, one special attack per character (some of which are re-used, like the Kamemeha). In the end, there are only half a handful of combos to use, and one does much more damage than the others and also hits multiple enemies.

All the Sagas, which hold a few levels each, have 8 chests to be found that have a special item that does nothing but unlock new characters for "tournament mode"

In fact, the tournament is the best thing about the game. It resembles a small sandbox where you and another fighter (can be another person!) fight. The bad news is the AI is purely pathetic and there only a dozen fighers, most of which you have to unlock.

The game gets a 6/10. It's hard to say whether this is a rent or buy because you won't finish it in one night (it's too boring.) On the other hand, there aren't many games like it out there (there used to be, on the much older consoles), so some people may want to play it from time to time. Then again, it's not very long.

I'll tell you what. If you enjoy this game and find it for 10% of the price it might be worth it.

Not mario
If I wanted to play a platformer I would pick a game like mario that the whole idea is platformer. DBZ is a figher and this game isnt. Is a button smashing platformer that takes no skill.

Dragonball: revenge of king piccolo review
I read reviews before renting this game.

I'm a huge fan of Dragonball, and of DragonBallZ. I was pleased with renting this game.
I found the controls to be rather easy, some of the bosses I had a tough time beating. I had most difficulty with the boss at the end of the game.

Graphics i thought were good. I wouldn't say that this is the best Dragonball game out there. I found the game to be a little bit short.

It took me a longer time to get halfway through the game, but once i was halfway through the game I beat it in a short time.

I would have liked to see more of what goku went through from the beginning of the series to when he gets older. the game only goes over the Red ribbon army saga, and then straight to piccolo.

If you are thinking of buying this game, i would suggest renting it first, I rented it first and I'm still not sure if I would want to actually buy it.

If your a big Dragon Ball fan this game is probably not for you unless you want a game that's more relaxing in terms of a typical dragon ball or dragon ball Z fan.

All in all, I liked the game, it wasn't one of my favorites, i would also recommend it to younger people to play instead of older kids.

The controls were pretty easy, the levels were short, and for the most part easy. for graphics i've seen better.

The bosses got harder as you got farther in the game. I found it hard to pull off combos, but maybe that's because I suck at combos in most games.

If you do rent this game I hope you have fun.
