NOTE: This is a two disc game, but it only counts as one disc against your rental plan.

Who needs a license to kill when you're a rogue MI6 agent working for the bad guys? GoldenEye: Rogue Agent plays with the fantasy notion that bad guys have just as much fun as the good guys. As a dismissed 00 agent now working for Auric Goldfinger, you will team up with Oddjob, Scaramanga, Xenia Onatopp and Pussy Galore. You will also have to watch your back, because not all villains are allies. GoldenEye: Rogue Agent features all of the style, globe-trotting excitement and neat gadgets that make regular Bond flicks a riot. Modes include single-player story mode, multiplayer deathmatches, and innovative war games for single and multiple players.

Insane action
I highly disagree with the person who said this game wasn't original and that they made the biggest mistake ever by not making you james bond in fact I was pleasantly shocked when I found out you were working for the bad guys I mean seriously who wants to be pure good all their life its boring being good in every video game also it is very different from average shooters in the fact you can use two weapons and take hostages and use your eye to disable weapons and create a shield because play any old shooter and you use two weapons and takes hostages and have a super powered eye

Great game
this is a pretty good game. For the first time, you can go dual wield with weapons. And for once, you aint james bond. you are golden eye and the cooler part is, your a bad guy. So out of 10, id give it an 8.

Wasted potential
This should have been a really fantastic game. I mean, come on! You play as a rogue MI6 agent working to help Auric Goldfinger wage war against Dr. No? Xenia Onatopp versus [censored] Galore? And Francisco Scaramanga is Q? That's some legendary stuff right there! Yes, EA was pretty generous with the fan service, but when it came time to translate this awesome concept into an actual game, they kind of blew it. Really, it's pretty dreary and tedious. The environments are drab, the missions are mindless, and the levels are just really big, really long affairs that don't require you to do anything more than mow down horde after horde of enemies.

Remember...
First of all, thank you zerokilla1 for that highly unreview like review, now my turn...

Remember Goldeneye for N64, the video game that controlled your past time, the video game that turned you on to video games, the video game that was so awesome at the time that you didn't care that the graphics sucked and there was no plot, the video game that was like "Hey you're at a dam, why not kill everyone then jump off it. If you do remember it, do not rent this, your high expectations will not be met.
This Shooter game has absolutely nothing that sets it apart from the shooters before it. Really the only thing I liked about it was it brought bond back to first person view, which, let's face it, is better. I however would probably have given this game a much higher score had they not made the biggest mistake in James bond game history:
YOUR CHARACTER ISN"T JAMES BOND!!!!
What blasphemy.
