This game to me was boring.. lacked excitement, once shooting commenced it was an OK experience. Got bored quickly. Rent at your own curiosity!!

playable & fun
I finished it at around 29 hours with 85% complete and enjoyed it! Yes it's like FarCry and that's a great thing, plus the game engine is from crysis so it looks good, shootings fun, building your weapons and acquiring new gear is enjoyable. I like the looting system it's a tad bit like fallout 4 searching for trash to get ca$h. I didn't play multiplayer. 3/4 through the game you'll have all the gear/equipment and weapons just buy playing.
NOT A BUY, RENT FOR SURE!

rage quit
the story is good it kept me going for about half the game the graphics where also good but i just couldn't keep going i had to many issues that just built up and caused me too rage from randomly getting stuck on objects or behind them to not grabbing onto building objects to climb up and the final kisser was the enemies would either keep on spawning by you or right on top of you which is fine if your prepared but the major difference between the weapons and your armor just doesn't help if the spawn right on top of you. actually im fairly certian that the armor did nothing to help me out.

It's really not that bad...
I actually saw the reviews for this game and found that they weren't that favorable. With the generically bland story, the annoying bugs, bad lip sync, and lack of player vs. player which was the one shining quality of the original (at least until the initial developers in charge went bankrupt and the servers shut down).
My own additional complaints about the game would have to include the rather narrow gun play, not having access to flash-bangs which the enemy had, the entirely reworked plot that just throws the original right out the window and gives us a completely different version of North Korea that's not relatable to real life North Korea, lack of gibbing from realistic violence, lack of a voiced protagonist, and controlling no vehicles apart from motorcycles and RC cars like you could in the original (which have very clunky handling!).
Despite all these flaws though, I kept coming back to it. The open world gameplay and the multiplayer co-op were very addictive (when you can actually get people to play with you). The side missions are fun, upgrading your guns is immensely satisfying, the storyline was nonetheless captivating in my opinion, and perhaps it's just because I'm a Star Wars fan at heart, but there's still something romantic about fighting against an evil empire occupying American soil. I give it a 7 out of 10. It's good but not great. But I'd gladly rent it again, especially with more content coming out as late as early 2017. If you like first person shooters, you might be able to enjoy this. Rent it off of GameFly and check it out for yourself. They'll have plenty of copies! LOL

GOTY Contender
This game gets so much flack but it is an amazing title! Just because it doesn't come from EA or Activision doesn't mean it shouldnt be a top GOTY Contender. Their we're almost zero glitchy moments that we're blatently complained about. As a fallout fan I can deal with glitches but this game only glitched once and it was non impactful on the game. Seriously everyone is hating but this game is 10/10 especially when you take into account the 3 studios it went through while in development. It's storyline is also some of the best I've seen in years and is open world but at the same time mission based similar to GTA but with a smaller world but also more shooter focused. Cannot wait for the next installment!
