Close to the real thing
I'm a Street Racer and its as close as you can get to the real thing. Unlike other games you can do more customizing with this to your car. Your not stuck with what the designer give you. Yeah the some of characters favor the Fast and the Furious cast but the game is over all a very good game. Yes you will have to pay for the smallest scratch but if it were a real car wouldn't you have to do the same thing. Anyway I rented it then shortly after I bought it. I just wish you could make the computer pay for the damage the it causes. Other than that I give it a 8. RENT IT

Experince endless, cross-promotional horror
I hated, hated, hated this game.

I hated the phonecalls you get from your multiculti opponents who sound like bit players from THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS.

I hated that the main reason for these phonecalls was to paste cellphone providers' logos on your TV screen.

I hated the tutorial prompts (which couldn't be turned off) that would tell you when to brake or turn.

I hated that following these tutorial prompts would lose you the race.

I hated customizing my car, which took forever, which had no effect on the speed, handling or performance of my car.

I hated that every single customizable doodad you had to scroll through had a different brand name logo pasted onto it.

I hated, hated, HATED this advertisement disguised as a racing game.

Boo!

Heavily over favored
This game was severely disappointing to me... It heavily over favors imports especially the FWD and 4WD cars. Muscle cars are nothing compared to the imports they have on here. The Imports will smoke the muscle cars off the line every time. I did like the show off part of the game but if you didn't have a FWD car you couldn't pull off half the tricks. I also like the betting and the pink slip races. But overall this game is not a very good racing game compared to the more popular racing games like Need For Speed or Forza. But if you don't have a lot of cash and want something that will entertain you for a little bit this game will do it for about 10 bucks.
