Resident Evil returns to PlayStation 2 with Resident Evil: Outbreak, a cunning multiplayer and single-player title with robust online capabilities. For the first time on Resident Evil, you can play 4-player co-op missions, combining the varying talents of 8 different possible characters. Choose from six male and two female characters, and take on Raccoon City and its seething army of zombies. Team-based problem solving will force you to cleverly coordinate actions. Single-player mode has just as many chills and thrills, challenging your nerves as you make your way through the treacherous night.

RE-cap
The original RE controls are like... learning a martial art it takes practice, practice, and more practice. Unless your billy blanks, then you only like RE 4 and 5 for it's "Easy to learn moves". I like the traditional controls alot. I wouldnt trade them for the world. What does this have to do with my review? Well, we all know that REO, file one and two are the last remaining, Non remake, offspring of the Traditional RE Controls. That was it folks, no more. Not very many people are like me. I have heard soooo many people bash on RE 1 through REO#2, then turn around and say "i love RE4 and RE5". People, it goes like this, if you like the old school REs then yes, try out REO. REO is a little more realistic (As if zombies weren't realistic already lol) you dont have very much inventory space, objects can be used as weapons, your friends act retarted in the face of danger. You block and secure doors to keep zombies out, carry your dying partners to safety. Each character has special attributes. The only let down for me was YOU PICK YOUR STAGE. yes it's in stages and yes you can choose one. I hated it in this one and i hate it in RE5. You have 2 other survivers with you which oddly enough, you choose at the stage select. Now if your character is dying you can choose to help or let them die but they will come back as zombies. There is also your virus percent thing. Which would make sense if you had been bitten, it is actually there at the start. there is no way to lower it. only slow it down or make it stop going up for a limited amount of time. To me, it's more like a... time clock. the you have been playing for too long time clock once it's at 100, BOOM! No, you just plop over and die. ok ok, I could go on and on about REO but im at 243 characters remaining. REO can end up being alot fun, just give it a chance. Theres tons of replay value here too. TONS. Now, im not saying break your neck to play this game. if youve got some friends and beers, well, bust out the ps2.

great game but could have been longer
this was the first resident evil game ive ever played and it was great but it was too short the first scenario takes only 30-45 minutes to beat and the rest arent much longer except the last one the AIs arent much help so the game is better on lone wolf

Resident Evil: outbreak
I was so disappointed when i played this game, i know that it was old and all but still it really sucked. I am a big fan of resident evil and i did not like the game play of resident evil outbreak. It was OK but it didn't even have first person view. I was just disappointed, i was so sure it would have been a lot better.

I sent this game back 30 minutes after i got it.
In this game you are in a city that is over run by zombies.

you first start off in a bar thats attacked y zombies and you got to get out, there is no toutirial and no way to learn the buttons you are just right there not knowing what to do.
the camara angles are so bad sometimes you can even see doors to get to so you spend 5 minutes trying to get to a door you know is there but the camaras wont let you see.
I am not going to lie the cutseens are very good, but they really shoulda made it a FPS.
all in all this game sucks.
the paper the game comes with is worth more than this game.

Horrible
THis Game like the title was horrible doesnt gamefly check the discs. Anyway I had just gotten the game a while ago and I put it in the ps2 and it said it couldnt read the disc. So I asked for a replacement copy and then sent the game back to them. Well I had to wait anther 2 days until the shipped the other copy. Then as luck would have it the game was still scratched. I imediatly sent hte game back. I also deleted file 2 because I no longer trust gamefly with ps2 games. So know I have to wait anthor 2 days before they ship anther game. But I dont recommend you rent this If the game disc is always gonna be scratched. If I could give a zero for the condition I would this was as I said horrible
