The Punisher

This was a very pleasant surprise. While the game play breaks little new ground it compares favorably to others in the genre. Where it does excel tho is in its faithfulness to the present day Punisher comic. Getting current Punisher scribe Garth Ennis to plot this helps it a lot also it's nice to see some cameos from the other denizens of the Marvel Universe.<br><br>One of the better comic to game adaptations out there.

GAMPLAY: The GP in Punisher is very fun and brutal. Torturing the ppl to get them to tell u things is very fun and sick! U can do all sorts of things from holding them out a window to dipping them in acid! There are tons of different things to do and its cool becuz it lets u make use of the environment. Like.. u can choose to do one thing but not the other. Other than the torturing part, teh rest of the game is your average 3rd person shooter. One thing u will start to notice about the game is that is pretty hard. Especially once u get closer to the end of the game. But other than that the game is really fun and REALLY brutal!<br>STORY: The Punisher is told by him and some other guy talking while he's in jail. You play what led up to him coming to jail and then theres a BIG twist and you escape from jail and its pretty cool how it works out. I wasnt expecting teh story of a PUNISHER game to be so good but it definitely was!<br>GRAPHICS & DESIGN: The graphics in Punisher are pretty good. The environments all look very good and detailed, as do the enemies. The design of the game was pretty good too. The levels are all really cool and big and u can explore them all. Youll go from ships to drug houses to jungles and more!<br>OVERALL: A very good game. Id consider buying it AFTER u rent it becuz the difficulty is kinda hard and u may get mad if u think u wasted your money.<br>RATING:9.5/10

Now I know that most of the game is just a normal run and gun shooter, but the interrogations are so cool.

If your into gore, violence, and the down right insane; THE PUNISHER is the game for you.<br><br>Personally the punisher is my favorite MARVEL character. The way he takes it to the bad guys and leaves no prisoner, And this game displays that beautifully. The intensity of the game is what i like the most.You just lay down the gunfire and people go down. You get up close and you can quick kill them. And the originality of the kills is just awesome. Shoving knifes in people's faces. Slitting their throats. Kicking them on to the ground then shooting them in the stomach or back. Or taking your pistol and shooting them in the face. And the interrogations! The interrogations are inventive and almost always different. You get from putting a gun to someone's face or stabbing them with a rhino. Depends on your M.O.<br><br>You also have the armory, the war journal, and the war zone. The armory is where Frank gives you the descriptions of all the guns you can use. The war journal is where you have news clippings of the PUNISHER'S exploits. The war zone is the campaign itself. The armory, war jpurnal and the war zone are all names of his comics,<br><br>The only thing i did'nt like was the way he called JIGSAW Howard Saint first then he called him John Saint which was pretty bad that it made me give this game a 9.<br><br>This game is a for sure rent because if your a fan of lots of blood, black and white death scene, and severe fighting, this is your game,

Good: innovative ways to interrogate your enemies, dual weapons, finding anything to shield yourself<br><br>Bad: camera angles, with the dual weapons you can only do it with the same weapon (pistol/pistol, shotgun/shotgun) unlike in halo2 where you can have many different combinations of dual weapons<br>

This game stays as close as possible to the comic story. You play Frank Castle (A.K.A The Punisher) who's family was killed in the cross fire of a mob hit. You make it your life mission, to kill the criminals of new york, and to kill those who killed your family. But, remember "This is not revenge...Its punishment."<br><br>Despite the reaptivity, and lack of replay value, this game delivers a great Punisher experience. Shoot your way through gangsters, and the scum of new york city. The shooting mechanics are average, and quick kills and interrogations, are well balanced and fun. One of the best comic book adaptions yet! Ultimate Spider-man and the punisher, are some of the greats comic book games for the consoles.<br><br>Its pretty realistic until you get to the Iron man level. It loses its realism, but rewards you with some interesting level design, and story development. The voice acting is great, except for Frank's neighbor Jane's who's voice sounds like it was done by a male.<br><br>The ways you can kill and punish are all well thought out, and fun. A very well designed game, with minimal flaws. If your a punisher fan or you just want a good shooter, pick this game up. You wont be disappointed.<br><br>8/10 very good.<br><br>

This was one heck of a game back when it was farelly new. When I rented it from Blockbuster I rented it back-to-back for 3 weeks. It was kick butt. Just all you basically do is kill guys, but creatively. Rent it and see for yourself. See what happens.

I love this game its just like the movie. I love this game and all the graphics.
