You've built and lived in a sprawling Sim City. Now, escape to the country! In Sim Animals, you'll enter a vast forest where you'll meet and interact with wild animals in their natural habitat. Almost everything you see can be picked up, touched, or moved, including the animals themselves! You'll encounter rabbits, hedgehogs, foxes, owls, squirrels, bears, and more. In order to travel deeper into the woods, you'll need to help the animals you meet. The happier you make them, the further you can go. Interact directly with the environment using the Stylus or blow into the mic and solve problems with a gust of wind!

Very Disappointed
I was very excited when I accidentally came across this title. I enjoy life sims and couldn't wait to play with all the cute animals. However, I seem to spend more time watering and caring for plants and environment then I do playing with the animals. Very misleading, there are better "plant" games out there, I wanted this to be an "animal" game. It's a good thing I only rented it, because I would never spend real cash on this boring slow game. NOT recommended.

Very good, I might keep it...
I think that this game is an interesting concept. It is a little bit like Zoo Tycoon for PC, instead you have a little more control over every thing.

Make a suitable enviroment for animals to wander on the premises and live there. It was fun to be able to name the animals and such, and the diversity of species was satisfying. I think that this game is good for younger kids however, but is very entertaining for long trips and waiting in lines.

Overall it was entertaing, and possibly good for a little older kids (I'm 13) and fun for long trips.

Sims animals.
When you think Sims, my first thought is, your able to control the animals, but that's not the case here. What you control are the trees and plants. I find it challenging to try to water plants and replant them, while at the same time I have to take care of the animals needs in order for them to stay.
I gave this game a 5/10. Only cause it's not what I thought. When the animal makes it's home and it's tired it will some times sleep on the ground near it's home which I don't get. The game also doesn't help you on how to bring a certain animal or how to keep it there. Yes it makes you guess but it would be nice to have a help button.
If you like the challenge of this kind of game go for it. Otherwise I would suggest not to get this game. It's not what I thought a Sims game would be.

If you liked viva pinata pocket, you'll love it.
You use the stylus for everything you do in this game. The game teaches you how to do everything and sets goals for making the animals happy. When the happiness gauge reaches certain levels you gain new ablities and access new areas. This is a fairly easy game but I liked it anyway.

Should call it Sim Gardener
This game fell far short. You spend so much time watering all the stupid trees and flowers and bushes you barely have time for the animals. Not that you want to get to attached since you may take the time to befriend a hedgehog just to have it eaten by one of the 8 owls that have moved in that refuse to leave. Viva Pinata is much more fun.

Simanimal
Do not bother unless you want a mindless, repeatative, very slow paced BORING game. At best a prefect game for young child not an adult gamer.
I wish there was a review to let me know the
down falls and it would be a waste of time.
Sorry Electronic Arts you can do better!

Pretty fun game
You get to take care of animals, find or create homes for them out of trees or logs, kept them safe from other animals and get new ones to join your forest area. Pretty easy and fun to play. Graphics aren't too great, and it only took me 2-3 days to play, but a good addition to my Sim collection.

Awesome Game
Sim Animals gives an amazing new twist to the ''Sims'' we all love and know.Sim Animals is a great game starting out a cute little squirrel and ending with a fierce predator the wolf at the top of the food chain and every other animal in between.Your goal is to complete all your requirements for each level in the forest.Every time you finish a level you get better and the game gets harder keeping you on your toes every time you encounter a new animal.Give them food, a safe home(from the carnivores), even a baby sounds easy its whole other story when you turn on the game.

Twisted Animals
I found this game to be very fun even though I wasn't sure how I would react to my first game fly rental. I was afraid I wasn't going to enjoy it and have to send it back after my first play. I hated having to constantly water grown trees, why couldn't it just rain on it's own, it took too much time away from taking the animals happy. I didn't help when the animals were eating each other when you we're trying to make them happy. Though it gets challenging after awhile it gets easier to get past all the difficulties. There was a lot of testing of my patients, but past all that all together it was a fun experiment.

Good idea but disappointing
At first the game is fun but it gets frustrating quickly. You have to water the trees and plants and keep animals happy. I found it hard to do keep everything watered and animals happy. My biggest pet peeve is creating a small log. I've tried everything and can't get it t happen.
