One of Bikini Bottom's greatest treasures has been stolen: the Krusty Krab's secret Krabby Patty formula. Sheldon J. Plankton has built an army of evil robots, destroyed the Krusty Krab, and nabbed the recipe. It's up to SpongeBob and friends get it back! Play as five favorite characters: SpongeBob, Squidward, Sandy, Patrick, and Mr. Krabs and switch between them as many times as you want. Search for hidden collectibles, solve puzzles, and save Bikini Bottom from Plankton's evil plot! Level up your character to gain more powerful abilities and gizmos you can use to stop the robots. Up to five friends can team up for co-op multiplayer. The jump-in-jump-out, party-style play keeps going as long as one player continues the adventure.

do not rent or buy unless you like repetitive games. you will thank me for this before you decide to place this on your list. The Spongebob games on the PS2 were better than this.

You know what? Boychik0830's basically summed this game up in one sentence, Any Sponge Bob game is actually better than the sequal's. No joke. I played Sponge Bob Square Pants: Battle for Bikini Bottom when I was young and I had more fun playing this game (On the gamecube/Xbox (Not the Xbox 360 or Xbox 1 BTW)) then me watching the show. Anyways, If you read this, you probably got very little important details about why this game sucks worse than Chum Bucket Chum. If so, just watch a review of it on Badman Review's Channel on youtube and while your at it, go and watch Fawful Minions top 5 best Sponge Bob games. Have a Groovy day my friends!
