SSX Tricky updates one of the PS2's most popular games, combining exhilarating racing and fantastic 3D graphics. Like its predecessor, the physics engine convincingly recreates the feel and excitement of plowing through powder, bouncing over moguls, skidding on ice, and speeding down steep straightaways. But Tricky's stunts and tricks are even more insane, with longer hang time and more over-the-top moves. The courses are also improved this time around, with the addition of two new tracks. A stellar techno hip-hop soundtrack adds to the thrills.

Oh man.

So many hours spent playing this game... Anyway, this is one of the best sports games I have ever played. Probably because it doesn't try to be realistic, so you can have a lot more fun with it. The graphics are pretty cool, and so is the gameplay. There's not really a storyline, but who cares? It's a sports game. So basically if you're into these kind of games, then definitely give it a try.

Best Snowboarding Game EVER

SSX Tricky is quite possibly one of the most addicting and playable sports games ever to be released. Anyone can pick it up, start off on Garibaldi and before you know it, they'll be tearing up Pipe Dream or Tokyo Megaplex. The multiplayer mode is awesome, and allows you to start an intense rivalry, like the one I had with my sister as a kid. If you want to play SSX, I would recommend Tricky for PS2 over SSX for PS3 ANYDAY.

Best snowboarding game ever!!!

So real and so addicting. It is also a great game to play with friends, so just try this SSX bTricky instead of the other one's. You will be surprised on how good it is.

SSX Tricky PS2

Older game but i grew up with it, super fun to play not very hard to play, for a ps2 game its very entertaining for hours.

Best SSX Out There

I think this is the best one out so far. Pros: The tracks. Characters. Boards. Cons: Trying to remember what button does which uber trick. I love this game and still with SSX 3, On Tour, and SSX I think the best is SSX Tricky. Oh, and get cheats from gamewinners or cheatplanet, they have good ones.

If you've played newer boarding games...

If you have played anything newer than SSX tricky, i beleive you will be highly disapointed. The graphics are aweful, the gameplay is rough. Two player mode is even worse! It takes rocket science to enter and/or find cheats. JUST PLAIN AWFUL!!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

GREAT GAME

i use to play this game back in the day when it 1st came out. i loved it then and i love it now. i rented this game recently and i think its a great game! it is very addicting and fun. the characters are funny and unique as well as their costumes and boards. the graphics arent as bad as some people say. the controls are easy to handle as well. i recommend this game for any age group

Great But Easy

I had a blast playing the game. But I got through it in a flash. There are so many shortcuts that you can almost lap somebody or you can. It is a great 2-player game. I suggest to try this game.
