As Vexx, a young man in a far-away world, it falls to you to defend your planet from the invading Shadowraith. After you find your grandfather slain, you must pick up the deadly War Talons and take the fight to the enemy. You can learn 200 fighting moves during the game, and you'll need them to win. The game's 18 levels should keep you busy, but keep an eye out for the hidden party games and bonus stages. Landmarks throughout the game world keep you oriented, and you can visit previous levels by finding the appropriate landmark.

A worthy challenge
First, the good points: Vexx is a gorgeous game. The worlds are richly detailed, the interactivity is top-notch, and the puzzles are not dumbed-down. The environments actually change from night to day, as do your enemies. Combat is very satisfying, lots of hands-on action.
There are a few flaws, mainly the camera. The camera is not your friend, ever. Normally, this isn't a major problem, but it will frustrate and annoy you in the middle of combat or a puzzle, and give real meaning to "Leap of faith." Overall, Vexx is an awesome game, with tricks and ideas I have never seen before, and even with an evil camera it's still a fun game.

I played this game when i was younger and thought it was amazing, so i bought it when i was older expecting for it to be mediocre but was astonished that my childhood memories of this game were actually about right.
This game is an amazing platformer and yes the camera can get annoying at time but if you focus on the game without the camera miss-happs it should get a rating of 10.

i played this when i was younger, any little 7 year old with a short attention span likes this game probably, but yeah anywho, i like this game alot but i suck at video games so ive only gotten up to the boss on the first level and i was too scared of it....come on i was 7. In the past few years ive gotten muuuuch better so this should be good :)

A good platformer
Vexx is a very underrated platformer that I personally think deserves a little credit.Though it's story isn't that great it more than makes up for it with its raw challenge. This game is not easy you will not complete it in a couple of days. The point of the game is to collect wraith hearts. This game will put your brain, and skills to the test! I was amazed at how challenging it was! & the puzzles! most of them were just so creative, and the level designs are crazy! You will find yourself in a piano, climbing up instruments,in an erubix cube, and lots of other kooky places! Vexx also has some combat though its not too hard.He can execute a few powerful combos to bash up his foes. There are sundials in the levels where you can change the time of day.At night the monsters are stronger just so you know. The music is very good too. It goes from epic to a little jazzy to other strange beats. There is a little voice acting as well, but it kinda sucks. There are like I think only twelve levels in the game, but they are huge and fun to explore. There is also a final boss at the end.Yabu.If you can make it to the end. This game is not for the impatient. It will take a very patient soul to master this game.Vexx is a very engaging platformer, and I found it fun and addictive. If you want your full value.I recommend you get the gamecube or the Xbox version. This game is a great time killer. See ya!
