Get ready for the ultimate crossover with this multiple-franchise fighting game. BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle features characters from four popular series: BlazBlue, Persona, Under Night In-Birth, and RWBY. Cross Tag Battle's gameplay was designed to be simple enough for newcomers and balanced enough for fighting game pros. It features fast-paced 2v2 team battles rendered with beautiful graphics. There are 20 fighters to choose from, so you can play as favorites like Jin Kisaragi, Rachel Alucard, Yosuke Hanamura, and more. The game offers both single-player and multiplayer modes, but no matter how you play, the gameplay is superb and the animation is smooth as silk.

A fun little cross world fight.

I play single player more than anything else, so when I heard that this game would have a story mode involving 3 of my most beloved series I was excited. Unfortunately, the story is average at best and pretty short. However the characters are absolutely perfect. Ruby is an adorable little red ball of energy, Yu is a calm and sociable, and Ragna is a brash hot head who's smarter than he seems. My biggest complaint is that they force a "smart combo" system. Unlike other BlazBlue games where you can go with manual mode and learn the combos yourself, you are forced to use these auto combos like in Dragon Ball FighterZ. While this does make it easier for casual players to enjoy the story, a way to disable it would have been greatly welcomed. I could often win fights without losing health just by mashing the basic attack button. This game just seems to have much less work put in it than a regular BlazBlue game.
