Persona 5

As a fan of the series since Persona 2, I can say that this is(by far) the best of all of them. Everything, from the story to the gameplay is phenomenal. I would recommend this game to any rpg fan out there.

Great story, characters, soundtrack, and if you don't like turn based like I do this is the strongest gameplay that will change your mind. It's challenging, fast, and most of all actually engaging (my problem with older turnbased games, felt like they were fighting and not me for real and slow. Here feels like you are fighting with friends. The banter during combat is great, kinda but smaller scale like FFXV banter during fights. The style is very good and blends right in. Ive played Persona 2,3 ,3 portable, 4, 4 Golden and 5. Each game were best at some thing, like 2 with story, 4 with characters but 5 is the best one overall.

Best rpg on the ps4 hands down. Not best of the persona series. Still a solid 10 worth the wait. Im just VERY upset they do not try and release a new persona game every few years. Instead they waste time on dancing and fighting games. They should give us another main game every 3 or so years not every 10. Still game is amazing buy or rent it right away .

A fantastic JRPG whether you're a newcomer to the Persona series or a long-time fan. Tons of content, stylish gameplay and an awesome soundtrack. It took me 100 hours on the dot to complete without rushing much, fusing lots of personas and doing side stuff. The only negative I'd say is there hasn't been much incentive to go through it again unless you're a completionist or perhaps want to see different dialogue reactions, get new perks from different character social links, etc. Still, it's a great JRPG I'd recommend to anyone looking for something to sink their teeth into. Previous knowledge of the series isn't really needed at all, but I'd recommend the earlier ones too or the mainline 'Shin Megami Tensei' games (that of which Persona is a spin-off) if you're interested and don't mind different mechanics.

This is the new standard for JRPG. Amazing game!

I had never played a Persona game or a JRPG before and this game quickly cemented itself as one of my favorite games of all time. You can easily play for 100+ hours and not get bored and the story is very engrossing. Cannot reccomend more.
