Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age follows the perilous journey of a hunted hero who must uncover the mystery of his fate with the aid of a charismatic cast of supporting characters. They embark on a quest taking them across continents and over vast oceans as they learn of an ominous threat facing the world. Dragon Quest XI brings a massive, gorgeous world to life in a style that blends stylistic cel-shading with photorealistic detail. Engage in a turn-based battle system that eases players into combat with an accessible experience, featuring mechanics simple enough for novices but with enough depth to satisfy longtime fans. Dragon Quest XI features tons of side quests and mini-games that provide enough content to keep you playing for well over 100 hours.

classic RPG
Wish more companies would make classic turn based RPG’s like this one. We want them back!

A very solid rpg
This is one of those games when I hit the 50 hours vested I think, I probably should buy this. Then I hit the 100 hours + and think, I definitely should of bought this. I beat it though, so now I’m at the crossroads of this game has great replay-ability but do I want to drop another 100 hours into it? Maybe in the future because it’s that good. Worth the purchase in my opinion if not at least the rent if you’re into this genre.

love the story, plot and combat
Overall this game is the best of the series, the skill tree is nicely done and the story of each characters pulls me in, veronica and sylvando r my favorites, the heroe’s designs looks great, voice acting is wicked good has some humorous dialogue that makes me laugh, the story is bery irresistable and makes u wanna play more to find wat happens next or before this event occurred

A Series I've always Loved
? Topped my favorite in the series (DQ8) so far, making it #1 on my list for DQ. ? Has characters I felt attachments to, making it hard to pick for my main team, which is actually a good thing. ? The Extra in this game is very great too, making the journey much more fun and extended. ? The free DQ8 gear you get at the very start of the game was a very nice bonus, the best part is, it's completely Free. No preorder or anything required. ? The ol' DQ difficulty, as previous titles before it, this game does not hold your hand with the enemies. Improvise, adapt, and overcome. ? I love that almost all the characters can dualwield increasingly offensive power and even Heal potency. ? I strongly recommend this game if your a fan of the series, especially if you liked DQ8.

Super
I enjoyed this I didn't finish all but that was because I didn't want to go back and reverse what took place one of the characters died so that you can live and fight for a better world. Characters were put together nicely with their own story line. I fully enjoy jrpgs.

An instant classic
Great JRPG. My only beef with it, is the main character (insert your name) has no personality and it's all about him and his journey. Everything else is top notch.

An absolute classic RPG
Dragon Quest 11 is an awesome game. This is the first time i've ever played a Dragon Quest game and it doesn't disappoint. As far as other RPGs, I've played a few of the Final Fantasy games like FF 10, 3, and 13. If you've played any of those games you'll like this one. However, this is a true turn-based JRPG through and through, so if that's not your thing this might not change your mind. But if you were to play a turn-based RPG for the first time, this would be a good intro because it's one of the most approachable RPGs out there, despite the beautiful but cartoony artstyle. Note: if you don't like the music at first, trust me, it grows on you.
