Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War

If you want to play single player you have to download it in 3 parts which equal around 40 gig, but when you first install you have an update of 20 gig. Single player has always been on the disc, wonder what Einstein thought this dumb move up. I get the discs because I have limited internet and prefer to play the single player. Online is the same, being instantly shot dead buy some guy running around with a sniper rifle. This is the last nail in the coffin for CoD, I'm done with them.

This was the worst experience I ever had with a game and I will never support this franchise again. I'm done with COD. For starters you can't just play the game you rented/bought... you will wait for a 3-4 hrs initially to install the game off the DVD with 50 gigs of data. However, you didn't install the game you installed the multiplayer and a cash shop for some other campaigns that are for sale. The campaign you paid for is locked. Then you will wait 1-2 hrs again for a 35gig update 85 gigs and 4-6 hrs later you basically didn't install anything and campaign is still locked. When you click on it it will say download "additional" content 12gigs? I'm guessing that was the actual campaign but i was tired of this shameless game making me jump through hoops to look at more of their online store and buy stuff when I haven't even seen the thing I paid for. It should be illegal to charge someone for this cash shop they call a game thats sole purpose is to force you to so they can go through your online cash shop all day but you still have to download a the full game because the game you paid for wasn't on the CD. This was infuriating and a waste of time. For a person who only has 1 or 2 hours a day for gaming I wasted all my free time waiting for this to install be going through their stupid cash shops to buy something else. I will never buy or even rent a COD game again. What a joke and what an arrogant predatory company.

Just got it today and it's just nonsense to download a campaign just a waste of time returning it tomorrow morning

Weak, short campaign. Same old generic story. I have been playing CoD Multi-player for over 10 years and this game BY FAR has the worst maps as far as layout and playability. This is also the worst I have ever experienced with any CoD game with spawn camping. In any Team Deathmatch you are repeatedly re-spawned DIRECTLY into enemy fire. Over and over and over and over for the entire game. Respawn, die. Respawn, take 2 steps, die. It is a massive problem that CoD refuses to fix over the years but this game is the worst I have ever experienced. The game won't respawn you somewhere the enemy isn't already aiming at. You watch the kill cams and they aim at nothing them, bam, there you are, respawned right in the enemies crosshairs. It's old and played out. Also, microtransactions are gambling and habit forming and need to be banned already. It's trashy business practice.

Several people gave this 1 because, Yes, you do have to download a few different pieces and they do total around 60GB total. I was getting 300Mbps download, so it didn't take Too long. All that said, the game play is great, leverages the new haptic feedback controller features, and the story is fun and well written. Amazing graphics too!
