Demon Stone: Overlooked as another underrated game
I loved playing this game. I thought that it had engaging game play and the characters were well rounded. This game has an excellent story that really sucks you in as the game progresses. I only have two beefs with this game, one is the camera angles!! The camera angles just plain stink. You can be engaged in a huge melee and all of a sudden the game pans out to show an aspect of the story. That is just plain stupid... The second thing I found annoying is the lack of save points in the chapters. You have to play and finish a whole chapter just to save your game. AAARRRGGGHHHH! That really annoyed the bejeezus out of me. Other than those two items, this game owns my soul.

Demon Stone
"Demon Stone" is a fast paced action RPG with rich graphics and character detail. Although the game play is fun, the story is short and the game is over within 5-6 hours of game play. With the ability to travel back through previous levels after completing them, you can use your new spells and armor to collect all the secrets and money after you've beaten the level once. I enjoyed this game and hope if they make a "Demon Stone 2", they make the story line last longer. If you've played and liked "The Lord of the Rings" RPG series or "Baldur's Gate" you will enjoy playing "Demon Stone"

Demon Stone Review
This game was a fun little distraction with a crucial flaw: it was just too short. The game has a very easily adaptable control scheme for the characters: the same button movements will trigger an ability with the same effect. For instance, a+b+b triggers a knock-down attack for all three of the characters. This combined with the individual strengths of the characters allows for the player to not need to rely on a single character all of the time, but if he should choose to, he could. Good, though short, story with colorful characters and hordes of enemies, this game is a fun, short rent, but probably a disappointing own.

Demon Stone
I liked this game it was fairly cool. Had a good amount of action, and the way they made the stealth system for Zhai was awesome. Though it was short not a every long game I had it beat in 6 hours with bathroom breaks. R.A. Salvatore sure can tell a story in this game too. he should come out with more like this but make them longer maybe we could get one off his Drizzt Novels where your actually Drizzt. Other then this game being fairly short and that you only get to advance to Level 10. I give this game a seven out of ten because of the action stealth engine and The Dragon.

Great Game, but.........
I think, that if the makers of this game made the slight jump to make this game multiplayer, they would have made alot more money, but hey, this is just one person's opinion,

Overall, this game is extremely fun, and I loved everything about it, except for that one small detail, not multiplayer.....which mangled the replayability. After I finished the game in 10 hours or so, I said, well this is DEFINITELY a game to play for the X-BOX, especially if you like D&D type games, but that one small detail, it not being multiplayer, makes it a RENTER, and not a KEEPER, just the fact that you can have someone else play with you makes a game replayable, I.E. Gauntlet, I've gone through that game so many times, because it was a game that everyone could play, and THAT my friends, is what will make or break a game, in the long run.

Roberto

Waste of a Rental
Honestly, adding this game to my queue wasted the time it took to come in the mail, as well as the time it took to send it back, plus about 5 minutes of game time. Basically, it's a cheap version of Gauntlet. Cutscenes occur just as you're about to begin combat, critters spawn right in front of you as you're fighting something else, if you die, you respawn in the middle of a gaggle of critters, etc. The game concept was halfway decent, it just had a lot of technical flaws.

I also didn't like the inability to control the camera angle. That's one thing that is rather important to me in a game.

I played through the first level, then sent it back, disappointed.
