YOUR LEGACY BEGINS NOW. STEP INTO THE KNIGHT.

Batman is dead. A new expansive, criminal underworld has swept the streets of Gotham City. It is now up to the Batman Family… Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin… to protect Gotham, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. From solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city's history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations, you must evolve into the new Dark Knight and save the streets from descent into chaos.

Gotham Knights is an open-world, action RPG set in the most dynamic and interactive Gotham City yet. In either solo-play or with one other hero, patrol Gotham's five distinct boroughs and drop in on criminal activity wherever you find it.

MEET THE TEAM!

RED HOOD: Jason Todd is an intense vigilante. It all stems from dying a violent death and then being forcibly resurrected by one of Batman's most dangerous foes. He has trouble keeping his temper in check, but he will not hesitate to step into the line of fire when a friend is threatened. Red Hood wants crime to pay because Gotham City is built on a foundation of corruption, and he's been on the receiving end of it far too often. Jason has trained to reach the peak of human strength, and he's proficient in multiple combat techniques with all manner of weapons - both traditional and high-tech. After reconciling with the Batman Family, he has embraced Batman's non-lethal combat methods.

ROBIN: Tim Drake may be the youngest of the Batman Family but he's also the smartest and a master of deductive reasoning. Tim is a true believer in Batman's mission and is motivated by the conviction that Gotham City needs a hero rather than by personal loss. Batman was a mentor of the highest caliber who personified the type of man Tim hopes to become. An expert fighter armed with his collapsible quarterstaff and skilled in the art of stealth, Tim also possesses a background in combined psychological warfare and behavioral sciences, all of which sets the stage for him to accomplish any mission.

BATGIRL: Few people can match Barbara Gordon in terms of raw willpower and determination. Barbara has always been a person of action. In her mind, backing down is never an option. When a spinal injury threatened to end her crime-fighting career, she adapted, applying her expertise as Oracle, a forensic intelligence hub with global reach. After years of pain, surgery, and rehabilitation, she eventually recovered. Strengthened by Oracle, as well as Barbara's now unbreakable determination to protect Gotham, Batgirl returned. Barbara is highly trained in a variety of fighting styles, such as kickboxing, capoeira, and jiu-jitsu. Her signature weapon is the tonfa. Barbara also displays great skill when it comes to hacking or coding in computers and technological systems to dig for information.

NIGHTWING: Dick Grayson is a natural leader, an optimist, and the most charismatic of the Batman Family. He grew up in an unorthodox but loving circus family, so he values close personal bonds. Dick believes that, for the fight to be worth it, there must be something real to fight for; and that something has always been other people. He was Batman's first protege before becoming a hero in his own right. Dick boasts mastery in acrobatics and is an expert at taking down enemies with his signature dual escrima sticks.

Game is very good. Not Great.
This is a very good game. It's not a AAA title but way better than some people say it is. First of all people needs to stop trying to compare to Arkham.

better than I thought
despite many low metacritic scores I had a good time with this game. solid experience. enjoyed the story and atmosphere of some levels. 30fps or not the game ran smoothly for me and I didn't have any issues.

ok game... not amazing
It's hard not to go into this game and compare it to the arkham series. the combat is ok, albeit very repetitive. I miss the variety of different gadgets that arkham afforded. it attempts to provide some of that variety through varying abilities of the characters, but you cannot change anything mid mission so you have who you are going in. I think some variety through character switching could have been helpful. overall not terrible, but not what I was looking forward to after seeing the preview all year

The Game Was Alright
I really didn't like it at first, but by the end I liked it a lot more than I did initially. I hate the loot and the gear level. Overall, the game was alright. A good rental for sure.

Solid Game That Takes Some Warming Up
I'm really enjoying this game. At first, I wasn't sure. It started good, and then once you get into the game, you find some issues. The character narration feels cheesy, the map felt a little empty, and the fighting was super underwhelming. With that said, the graphics are very crisp, the character movement feels fine, and I love the Gotham map. I enjoy this DC universe, so I wanted to give it a fair chance. Let me tell you, the deeper into the game you dive, the better it gets. More and more items pop up on the map, the characters start unlocking features, and the fighting does become better. I enjoy the ability to switch between characters as well. I know this gets compared to the Arkham games a lot, but you have to be open-minded and let this game just be itself. It has some really good elements to it, and at this point, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Give it a chance. Let it warm up to you.

L game
Really bland and not fun, felt like a chore and what little it gets right is just under layers of repetitivity

Interesting.. However
Pretty cool story line. But if you're expecting the old engine of previous Bat games, be disappointed. These controls are a bit clunky to me. You wanna move one way and you either go another or not at all which makes certain tasks frustrating. The vehicle rides are not smooth handling.... It's not terrible, but it could for sure have improvements
