Set three years before the events of the original game, this prequel is a sensitive, episodic adventure about an unlikely friendship and a buried secret. Chloe Price is a rebellious and troubled 16-year-old girl. Her friend Rachel Amber is the opposite: popular, beautiful, and seemingly headed for a life of success. As their relationship deepens, the pair uncovers a family mystery that threatens to upend their lives. Together, the two friends will navigate an enigmatic world and depend on each other to face their deepest fears. With its haunting story, complex characters, and multiple outcomes, Life is Strange: Before the Storm is a fantastic game.

Life Is Strange: Before the Storm (PS4)
I enjoyed Life Is Strange: Before the Storm (PS4) and making choices but I did not like the back talk. I rented not bought so I did not get the "farewell" episode but did watch it from a game video.

Perfect!!!
This Games is Epic. Being the Prequel to the 2014 Life is strange, it delivered a complete Ride of Emotions and excitement. The Animation on the Game is Phenomenal, New Voices took sometime to get used to, but they fitted the characters aswell as Life Is Strange The Original. The soundtrack for this Title is one of the Best of the Best. The gameplay mechanics of this game are similar to those on the TellTale episodic games, were the choices one makes, it affects every episode. This Game is a Must have for Fans and everyone of this style of gameplay.

Gorgeous and emotionally-involved gaming!
I played this one before Life is Strange and even though there isn't any rewinding, its still a really great storyline. You get pretty attached to the story as the choices you make affect everything. I loved playing as Chloe, a super relatable character. The symbol of teenage angst and misunderstanding. This disc also included the first episode of Life is Strange for free to hook you into continuing the storyline.

Great if you liked Chloe
This is a really great story again. There is no rewinding time in this one like the first its just a choice bsded video gsme/story. It's only 3 episodes long so not as long as the first one which had 5. Either way a great rent if you are interested in Chloe"s past life.

Not as good as Life is Strange
I loved Chloe in the first game, loved Max too, and the time travel element added the extra bit the game needed to make it really interesting. Well.....this one has none of that. Chloe is just an emo teen constantly looking for a fight and instead of something fascinating like time travel we get "Backtalk" which is basically you choosing to make Chloe as much of a b as possible to win the minigame of arguing with someone. The only reason this gets a 6 from me is because the added episode of Farewell (which you have to buy btw, it's not included with a gamefly rental of the game) was amazing and more heartfelt than all the rest of the game.

Not nearly as good
The first LIFE IS STRANGE really got me all in my emotions, was a blast to play, and had me crying at the end. That being said, this was NO WHERE CLOSE to the same emotions. Was kind of boring, actually. I didn't really connect with Cloe, and this felt like a way to make $ off the first one by having a prequel.

A Good Time
This game is a lot of fun for fans of mystery and teen drama. I'd say it's not as good as the first game but overall a good time.
