This episodic survival-horror story plays out over four chapters, each more terrifying and suspenseful than the last. The popular Resident Evil heroine Claire Redfield is the main character here, with Moira Burton (Barry Burton's daughter) along to help out. Fresh from the unpleasant incidents in Raccoon City, Redfield and Burton are imprisoned by unknown forces and left in a spooky abandoned penitentiary on a distant island with little hope of escape or survival. With monsters lurking around each corner and ammo and provisions in very short supply, Redfield and Burton must escape the horrifying prison. They must solve the mystery at the center of the story and avoid being destroyed by the forces of Evil that surround them.

pretty fun
I LOVE ZOMBIE GAMES, so Resident evil realtions 2 was up my alley. The graphic aren't next Gen but the gameplay to me was amazing, I was stressing the whole time I was playing, and I like games to challenge me. The only thing I wish they did different was unlocking the no espace difficulty. I like playing games on there hardest mode, it makes the game last longer and too me personally it's better.

back to its roots
I enjoyed the game very much, just wish it was longer it kinda seemed short, and wish it was online co-op so I could play with my friend other than that it's a great game

A step in the right direction
I am a RE fan all thr way back to the original, I like the old AND the new gamplay, however 5 and 6 were done lazily and poorly with unrealistic action scenes, QTEs, Buff Chris, and unrealistic dodge rolls. Revelations 2 seems to be a fix on all that, I played about a episode and a half so far on Survival. I have not come across a single QTE yet. Story is better written and voice acted that 5 and 6 were. I love Claire and I also love Leon and I think in 6 he wasn't given much love giving his story was the easiest to play.
The Partner AI in the game is NOT annoying at all, they point the flashlight where you are looking, they don't get in your way and they can fend for them selves but not as effective as if you control them. I enjoy the banter in this game, Claire making a reference to the Jill Sandwhich and Barry mentioning the master of unlocking all in episode one. I love this game, it isn't perfect but they did bring the scary back and toned down the action by a lot which I love. It seems to be a RE game again and I hope more future RE games take from this game's book and NOT 5 OR 6.
I would recommend this game, give it a try.

Best RE since RE 4
Very good RE game. Creepy atmosphere (which hasn't been in an RE game since the first revelations) and solid storyline, but it was a little on the short side in terms of length. Graphics on character models were pretty good but backgrounds were awful for PS4. Overall I really enjoyed the game, felt like it was a step in the right direction, although I'm still holding out hope they just scrap all the existing characters and umbrella storyline in favor of a brand new universe.

Much better game play than previous RE
Great game with a good story line. It was good to see some old characters from RE. The only complaint was that the graphics could have been better with animations.

Worth the play for any true RE fan.
Brings back the original creepiness from previous games. 10/10 characters. 10/10 storyline. 10/10 gameplay. Plenty of feels and plenty of things to shoot. Just overall a great game.

you have to be a resident evil fan
I am one, its a 4 part episodic game for some reason. It feels like it had little budget to work with, and it felt a little half assed or rushed. It has fun gameplay and a lot of thing to do to complete it 100%. You will be going for about 20-35 hours to get all trophies/ achievements so its worth the digital $25 day one over renting. If you like 3rd person you might like it and if you are a die hard resident evil fan like me you will like it just cause its not too bad though, give it a try

Bring Back Resident Evil Weapons of old
To sum up this game in 3 words, Not That Good. I prefer 3rd person games, so I play any I can find. Resident Evil took a step forward several titles ago, only to continue the back side into, WHO CARES. Remember when Resident Evil offered chills, acid rounds and a Magnum that was worth of its name? Well I do, and I have not seen a Resident Evil worth buying in a decade or more. Short game, shame it was so easy to beat. Dialogue was rather weak and the ability to find ammo was a problem. Yet I played it twice opening I missed something, sad to say I didn't.
