In a future where black holes serve as gates to any destination, the planet Nu Earth is positioned in a vital strategic location between two suns and a black hole. Blown to oblivion by WMDs in a 20-year battle for its control, the former paradise is a pollution-ravaged wasteland. One warring faction, the Southers, creates GIs, Genetic Infantry, capable of surviving the planet's toxins without special gear. The GIs are betrayed by one of their own and massacred. One survives. Now he stalks the shadows in search of revenge. Play as the ultimate soldier in this intense tactical action saga that features single-player Campaign Mode and split-screen multiplayer.

It's "Take Your Genetic Trooper to War Day"!
I really didn't know what to expect when I started playing Rogue Trooper. I didn't see much advertising or any previews for the game, but I was surprised by the end result. Rogue Trooper takes a similar approach to an action game as kill.switch, except that Rogue Trooper is far better. Yes, you still hide behind cover and blindfire where needed, but unlike kill.switch, this game feels far less like a shooting gallery. It's more lenient which lets the action come faster. Also, the enemies aren't just soldiers, but planes, subs, mortars and tanks. It also throws in some cool tricks like using your rifle as a sentry gun and creating a holograph to distract enemies. You get some greta upgrades too, like a mortar, shotgun, beam rifle and incendiary grenades. The game isn't particularly hard or long, but it's gameplay is solid, framerate consistent and it never seems boring. Overall, it's the kind of game that warrants a rental, but has too little replayability to hold your interest past a few days.

Kill Switch Fans Rejoice...
If you have been eagerly awaiting KS2, then this game will satisfy your need to "hug a wall" and "blind-fire" your enemies to death. Solid action, pretty good graphics. Somewhat unique arsenal. I highly recommend this fps as a rental. Sadly, multi-player is great if you like co-op battles only (no Conquests or CTFs).

WOW
This game was one of the best shooters i have ever played. The combination of all out fighting and stealth are well blended to create a great game play experience. By far the best thing about this game is the physics. However co-op mode was a little disappointing. If you enjoyed star wars battle grounds and such things of that nature, you will love this game.

Really deserves an 8.
The only reason I didn't rate this an "8" is because of a slight lack of sophistication. Nonetheless it's a pretty addictive FPS that you can play more than once.

It held my intrest
All in all this game was pretty good. It wasn't anything too over the top and it wasn't badly done. This is the type of game for the gamer who has played EVERYTHING else and is tired of it. It's the equivilent of renting a movie on a Saturday night. Like, "Ohhh I wanted to see that! Lets get it!" and then when your done with it its like "Oh well that was nice but I don't think I'd watch it again. The upgradable character system is a plus because ever since Doom just getting better weapons as you advance through the story has been lame as heck (can't say the other word? :( ). Salvage system is kind of like being imortal though. I NEVER had any trouble affording upgrades or ammo/ health. The insta kill thing was pretty cool where you could sneek up behind an enemy and execute him all kung-fu/ brutal comando style. If your bored and you've run out of deacent single player games to play go ahead and rent this game. It won't change your world but you may just find yourself mildly entertained.

Good but has some downfalls
This game is a fairly stable third person shooter. There is stealth actions and a few separate tools at your disposal to get the job done the way you want.

The downfalls of his game are few but noticeable. The game auto-reloads for you but, when it does, it burns that clip. So, if you still had 27 bullets left, they are gone. When deploying mines, your character blocks your view.

Overall, this was a good game and has a nice co-op mode. Its worth a rental and could even be worth buying if you like that genre.

Rouge Trooper: yay or neh?
OK at first this game seems a a generic action game at first, but after renting the game I found that while not 100% unique it still offers a great experience. Multyplayer for example is 167% awesome, but only offers co-op play.

Just another ripoff shooter
Nothing different than most of the ordinary 3rd person shooters out there. No innovation, nothing special. On fact, I think they just changed the skins and put in a different box and called it a new tittle.

Did I also mention that control is clunky as hel?

What more can I but build stuff when you need it..
This was a pretty fun game. I only had a few problems with camera angles and somtimes getting n just the right spot to climb things was a pain, but for the most part the game play was great. The best thing about this game is the ability to build things when you need them. Running low on life use a med pack, running low on med packs build some. No need to find the stashes befor the big fight just go fight and build what you need...
