The famous Tekken franchise blasts onto your console in its most advanced form yet. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, the 3D battles are rendered in beautiful, realistic graphics with silky-smooth animations, and the gameplay and controls are fantastic. There are over 30 characters to choose from, ranging from Tekken favorites to a crossover appearance from Street Fighter's Akuma! Tekken 7's roots in arcade are evident, but there are some new features here too. Gameplay innovations like Rage Arts, Rage Drives, and Power Crushes are new to the series and give experienced users some new techniques to work with. Whether you play through the epic single-player storyline or face off online against friends and strangers, Tekken 7 is guaranteed to get your blood pumping.

Amazing
Not only do you have an amazing story that makes you feel like you're watching an anime series but the game play is smooth and brings you back to a 2017 arcade. This is a must rent/buy for any Tekken fans out there. I use to play Tekken 3 on PS 1 so this is amazing but if you're new you'll still enjoy it if you like fighting games. Also they have so many skins and character customization as well as online ranking system! People who don't understand this series should not review.

Needs more modes
Gameplay is still a classic. Needs to add more game modes like fight lab or tekken force. No replay value unless you like fighting online.

very disappointing...
I was so excited for this game when it was first announced all the way up to its release but then I got my hands on it... I first played treasure mode with my favorite character Hwoarang and was loving it. I then made my way over to the arcade ladder to unlock his ending and to do a few others as well...only to find out...there are no character specific endings in arcade ladder anymore...okay.. So I decided to play story mode to see if maybe that's where the endings are now and they have different stories for each character, to which they do not. It's one main plot line mainly to do with Heihachi/Kazuya/Jin mainly. The story was cool but very repetitive with random soldiers/bots to fight constantly until major fight parts happened near end chapters. It was very boring and rough to get through. I didn't touch multiplayer since I like just customizing my character and playing arcade ladder to unlock all the character endings.. in the end this game let me down so much...

Basic
This game doesn't live up to the hype. It really doesn't have any replay value. Story mode is the best feature, and it became tedious. Nothing really special to unlock.

Pure Garbage
Outdated controls and graphics in Tekken 7.Not only that the online is garbage due to the horrible lag.Games like this is why i love gamefly.I still can't believe the developers of Tekken are still stuck in the 90's.If you are looking for a fighting game go with Killler Instinct,DOA 4,or Mortal Kombat X.Stay clear of Tekken 7 can't give it anything else but a 1 there is no fun at all to be had here

Horrible Game.
This is a very bad game, very bad. The mechanics are so real that the game completely sucks (For A Fighting Game) worst fighting game I've ever played in fact. If you want to rent or buy a good fighting game get "Injustice 2" or "Mortal Kombat X" don't even bother renting this, trust me. I love fighting games, I really do. BUT this fighting game sucks REALLY BAD!

Just another Tekken...
It’s a fun time for a couple hours, which is probably why the campaign is short. It could pass as the last two Tekken releases.

Worst Modern Gen Fighter
I don't play a ton of fighters but just this week (check the timestamp) it was part of a free play situation on Xbox. Tried it and hated it. It is the slowest fighting game I have ever played. Soul Calibur is my fav, Injustice series, and then street fighter. But this game feels blocky AF. Every char has cement shoes

Worst Tekken Thus Far
Besides Namco-Bandai making U.S. players wait 2 whole years after its initial release for the game, it turns out to be the WORST Tekken I've played (and I've played every last one of 'em.) The online experience is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. The lag is beyond vicious and makes for the worst online matches you can imagine, which basically ruins the entire game (I didn't rent this to play the CPU all day). Most of the new characters are near carbon copies of other characters (moves wise). The character customization isn't as good as TK Tag II and they left out alot of characters that everyone wanted to see. Harada dropped the ball on this one!

very disappointed
I used to love the tekken franchise and was excited to get this installment. My biggest downer is the story mode, it seems too restricted. Some characters are ridiculously powerful . Overall I didn't like it.
