We Happy Few is the tale of a plucky bunch of moderately terrible people trying to escape from a lifetime of cheerful denial in the city of Wellington Wells. In this alternative 1960s' England, conformity is key. You'll have to fight or blend in with the drug-addled inhabitants, most of whom don't take kindly to people who won't abide by their not-so-normal rules. Discover the retrofuturistic city's dark history as you play through the intertwined narratives of three quietly rebellious citizens of Wellington Wells. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses; they face their pasts, prepare for the future, and engage in activities that aren't exactly status quo in this artificially enthused society.

has great ideas but falls short
The graphics are good mostly but some textures were really ugly loading in and look dated some.
The story is put together in 3 acts each act focusing on a different character the story is pretty good and interesting mostly act 1 isn't as interesting as the other two though
The gameplay is fun but it could been better the game trys to be a survival game but I never really needed to drink or eat since food and water doesn't give you any health and not eating and drinking didn't effect me the crafting works decently and does help leveling up works decently to fast travel doesn't help much like it obviously helps but only if you find the hatches so you can't just fast travel from anywhere I got by pretty good without buying much do i usually didn't buy anything unless the story needed me to which was only in the second act I'm pretty sure fighting is alright you can run until the enemies stop chasing you or hide or of course fight but time to time you can get way to many enemies attacking and if the health gets to low and you don't have anything to health you or a bed you'll die so you may as well let the enemies kill you.
The game is unfortunately really buggy like enemies disappearing things floating people falling halfway through the ground crashed once and also there's unnecessary loading screens.

Eh.
The gameplay is easy to learn and hard to master but the mechanics feel a bit clunky. Story seemed okay and missions weren't terrible but it just always had a sense of something missing like it was almost your favorite game but it didn't try that hard to be. Navigating through the menu was kinda irritating, having to jump through different hoops to do something that's simply a two-button process on every other game. Worth giving it a shot though if this kind of stuff doesn't bug you.

Broken and Full of Bugs
While this game does have a good story and the game play can be good (when it works), it's also Broken and Full of Bugs and should have never left the beta testing stage. In one moment you are playing the game and everything seems O.K., but them you get bugs that can make the game unplayable or just crash the game and you have to restart it, and this is all after you have to download a 8GB "Day One" Patch that should fix the bugs, but it does not. If you want to play this game, I would hold off on buying or renting it until they fix all the issues with it, and even then you might have to download and even bigger patch in order for the game to work right.

Very disappointed...
Bugs and glitches aside, the game is incredibly boring.

Unfinished Product...
I am sorry, but this game should never have been released in this state. A completely buggy mess, loading times longer than some full games and a loading screen every few feet you go. A great concept with very poor implementation, the final nail for me came when I happened to notice that the entire game is not even complete, the sandbox mode says 'Coming Soon' ... really, you couldn't even bother to finish it before trying to bilk money out of customers.
Thank God for Gamefly, they saved me frim buying this hot mess.

Cool concept, Broken ASF
I liked the concept alot. The trippy visuals and 60s vibe and little tidbits of Beatles quotes are a plus.. But my lord is this game broken. Textures not filling in , game stops to load mid-walk , buttons not working and having to reset the game , and the AI is really bad . Enemies would surround a dead body examining it and you could stand next to them watching with them and they don't notice you. And the final straw is you could be standing around doing nothing , then the whole town decides to come and attack you because AI flips out.

A little rough, but not bad for an Indie Game
This game has so much potential and interesting story to it, it is a shame it wasn't made by Ubisoft or Rockstar. There are a few bugs and it is incredibly difficult, but once you figure out how to play (you don't always need to have Joy in your system, for example, to assimilate)! It was quite addicting. I found Sally's story the most interesting (Act II), but there really wasn't a bad moment in the game. Give it a chance (or two...or three...) and it'll be worth it.

Take joy right off the start?
Best ending to a game I've ever seen if you take the joy pill right at the start.

We happy Bad
Story is ok but after the first 5 min you realize the framerate is 15fps. Add in no variety in combat and with a boring melee system that makes Skyrim look like God of War. I played it for a few hours and couldn't wait to put it back in the mailbox.
