The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars series packs enough horsepower to rival any racing circuit. There's only one catch: pavement is not included. Take the wheel of a high-powered Sprint Car with giant rear tires and a winged tail, designed specifically to chew up a dirt track. Start as a rookie and tangle with the world's best Sprint Car drivers. Compete against 20 of the circuit's top pros, including Steve Kinser, Jason Meyers, and three-time champ Donny Schatz. Race on 12 official World of Outlaws tracks that deform in real time. Dig in and carve a track to victory in split-screen races or take on eight drivers over Xbox Live.

Get what you pay for!!!
Was very excited when I saw this game was being released. Now not so much. If you loved the 2002 woo game then you will be disappointed with this game. I've been racing sprintcars for the past 10 years and this game is very inaccurate. The graphics look like something from late PS1 or early PS2, No idea where they got their racing sounds but sounds nothing like a Sprintcar or any other racecar for that matter. You can't change any race settings and the car just bounces off the walls and other cars like a pin ball. If you are into arcade style games then you may enjoy this game. If you are into sim racing games this isn't the game for you. would I have been upset to pay $20 for this game? No!!! but is this a game that has hours of enjoyment to it?? NO!!! Not at all.

Fun Game!
If you are a dirt fan and an xbox fan you should like this game! I enjoyed playing this. I can't wait to get home and play it tonight. and for 19.99 you can't beat the price for an xbox title. Buy this don't rent it! $20 bucks. This will be a cult classic for racing games! I gave it an 8 because it is not perfect but very fun!

Pretty Fun Game
I have never raced a sprint car so I can't say if this games handling is accurate but... When you get used to it the game is pretty fun. The graphics are not bad and the gameplay is pretty good. And for $20 you can't beat it. I would say any dirt track racing fan or driver should buy.

do game developers even test games?
This game could have been so much better, the graphics are decent, all the effects of going around a dirt track are their, the dirt hitting your visor and having to use tearoffs but the controls are terrible. The AI isn't to bright either, people that you make mad from hitting them will come at you no matter what. But mainly the controls are what make this game unplayable, certain tracks are way to small for 24 cars at the same time and mix that in with the controls and it equals a seriously bad racing game.

Not worth your time
Just another arcade style, low budget title you won't really care about after the first couple frustrating races. This is on the level of 1990's games at the actual arcade. The sound is pathetic with virtually nothing that resembles a highly tuned engine much less a dozen of them roaring down a track. The physics are equally horrible, with no usable feedback as to when the rear will come loose. Rather difficult to do in anything but a real car- but simply impossible in this game.
I wasn't able to find a damage on/off selection, so simply ramming other cars as well as the walls is a perfectly viable solution to getting around the track. This is a good thing as the controls really don't give you much more of an option that randomly crashing into things.
Its slightly less entertaining than watching paint dry after the first few races.
I wouldn't even really recommend this as a rental, but with nothing to lose, perhaps a try. Anyone that paid actual money for this game should feel awfully silly.

Sprints Cars should be big!
What goes 130+mph on dirt, oh yeah, not to mention wet slippery dirt that no one can control. A good, honest game would actually really benefit the sport too. Huge in Australia, California, Iowa, Indiana of course, Oklahoma it is unattainable to get much more dangerous than World of Outlaw racing. I have an appreciation for NASCAR and Indy because of their speeds but really, on pavement?

This game all in all is just decent, they have had several for Playstation and Computer and if Xbox would come out with a corresponding wheel it would make it very tough but exhilarating once you're used to the feel and touchiness of the accelerator. They had almost all of the big name World of Outlaw drivers which was nice, career mode could be a lil more advanced with color schemes just like every racing game. Set up suggestions would be nice in the manual to help non racers get a feel for what they want because that makes a huge difference in online play, which I thought was the funnest part of the game even though I didn't ever fully understand setups except for tightening or loosening.

This game was very solid for $20 and if enough people buy into sprint car racing the sport could hit a huge boom as it is the best and fastest form of dirt racing. Heck even if the game next game doesn't impress even more you should still take a look at sprint car racing, real racing, with really talented drivers. Almost all NASCAR n INDY racers have climbed in a Sprint Car several times. The pavement just makes them more money, somehow.

" Olutlaw " this game, it's ok, but wouldnt own
This game was only, ok. I gave it a 5 only because the camera action was only good part. The setup was useless, the power of the cars was useless. I had twice the power & skills, but these wanna be racers didnt even wreck when I tried to wreck them. Thats ludicris. At least make it some what realistic. and the crowd cheering was same if lost or won, what the heck is that. Dirt was much better. Not Sprint Outlaws but, at least it was fun & a little harder to beat.
