Motion-capture technology blends with Hollywood storytelling to create a revolutionary new experience from the makers of Heavy Rain. Beyond: Two Souls follows the life of Jodie Holmes, a young woman gifted with incredible powers through a psychic link to an invisible entity. Experience gut-wrenching decisions and life-altering events in a branching, evolving story that spans 15 years of Jodie's life. Solve puzzles with innovative control sequences and survive cinematic action scenes as you control Jodie and the mysterious force to which she is bound. The game takes realistic visuals to a new level, using "performance capture" technology that allows Oscar-nominated actors Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe to bring the characters to life like never before. This title has been remastered with enhanced graphics and improved gameplay.

Great game but not new
If you played the original you've played this one. Don't expect a sequel only a prettied-up version. I still give it an 8 because it is worthy. Just know, it's the same game we played before. If you're new to the game and story, enjoy you're in for a treat.

Not What I Was Expecting
After playing Life is Strange, I thought maybe I just hated the interactive drama genre because that game made me want to blow my brains out lol. But this is completely different, the sci-fi story is genuinely interesting and the voice acting by Ellen Page is spectacular. Because you play through a jumbled up timeline, your choices only affect what happens in that particular level, which I actually like. No more stressing the entire game about getting the best ending. The controls, especially the camera, are a little wonky, but I love how they successfully genre hop while still keeping the core mechanics the same. There’s stealth, gunfights, melee combat, some horror, puzzle-solving, exploration, a motorcycle chase, a level where you work on a ranch and ride a horse....there’s a lot of variety is what Im trying to say, and its all done pretty well.

Amazing and Captivating
Wow, not what I was expecting at all! Amazing game, detailed and gripping story. Super unique how the story unfolds through the erratic timeline. I know you can also choose to play straight through. But I really enjoyed the non sequential version. I bought and downloaded the game from playstation, but at the bare minimum, it's a must rent. I'll probably play again in a while going the sequential road. Enjoy!

Surprisingly bad
Yes, the graphics are very good, but I couldn't make it through more than about 2 hours of this game, incredibly slow start and VERY boring...
