NOTE: USB Headset is sold separately and will not be included with this rental or purchase.

Konami brings a unique new twist to the action adventure genre with LifeLine, the first game ever to feature a USB headset as the main control interface instead of a standard controller. Trapped on a remote space station that has just been attacked, you must guide the main character, Rio, to safety using voice commands, while monitoring her progress on the station's security cameras. LifeLine's innovative voice-recognition technology distinguishes over 5,000 words and 100,000 phrases (like "dodge and reload") that you must use to direct Rio through intense battles and challenging puzzles; hopefully, you will have time to save your own skin, too!

Quadriplegic review
It could be a lot more intuitive in the voice recognition and you have to pay attention to what you hear because your voice is your tool so you have to repeat things in order to access certain areas so stay alert. It wasn't a bad attempt but the gameplay could be little better.

Good Concept but Bad Voice Recognition
The concept with the voice recognition was a great idea. Great story but will get you frustrated. With better voice recognition would have like to see more game.

Good story, interesting concet, but it just failed
Life line was probably the first game ive ever said.....forget it. I got about 7/8 of the way through the game and just said forget it. I wanted to beat it, because it had an intersting story line, But the horrible voice control made it impossible. At times this game was border line entertaining when she could actaully understand you, but there was also times when i was literally screaming SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT, and shes said ok and recovered or said ok, turn left. Or when i told her to check the notebook, shed say, ok ill go to the hallway. It was just waaaay to frustrating. The battles would of been uber easy but with her not understanding you, they were some of the hardest battles ive ever fought. If you had control over the character, the battles were simple. I didnt HATE this game, but i didnt like it either. Its the only game i didnt have a drive to beat. This could of been a good game, but it just wasnt. All in all id give it a 4.5 at best.

life line LOST!!...in SPACE.
I thought the game would of been great to play first time playing it started out alright and intriguing, and had good action.,Then she started misunderstanding commands even though I was speaking at the right level of volume for her to understand. Overall I well give this game 6.8 as my rating, but let others play it and see what they think of it, and a game to good game to play.
