Too Bad They Never Did A Third
Very well done game, all around. Simple enough controls, and storyline was rather nice. Re-play factor isn't all the greatest if you've done a good portion the first time around. But still if you like beating the snot out of robots for kicks.....this game is well worth a look.

Not for me...
The graphics I must say are very good quality, although its no surprise since its a capcom game. Gameplay is fun and expansive, the story is ok, but just too kiddish. This is a good game for the younger generation. Not for my tastes. If you're 13 and below, this is a good rent.

Ghosts and Goblins 3D
Judging by the title of my review, you are probably guessing that I'm criticizing this as a Ghost and Goblins rehash. Well. I'm not really criticizing largely due to the fact that Capcom made this game along with Ghosts and Goblins. Many of the similarities apply such as the difficulty and the armor breaking. The game itself seems to have enough identity to stand out for itself. The 3D environments in the game boast of some impressive color, though it does get aggravating to see some similar looking objects. The fighting system is also fun with many combos and special moves to discover. You also get a hammer that you can use to smash enemies into itty bitty pieces! Who doesn't like that? If there is a complaint about the fighting, it's that most of the good enemies appear a little later in the game. The bosses also need more creative death sequences. My final problem with the game are the cinematics. So far, the only cinematic that showed the PS2's power was the opening. However, the shortcomings are rather small, and the overall game is fun and addicting enough to keep me glued. Great job Capcom! Even though your game didn't sell well, I definitely think you should make a sequel, not only because the game is great, but also because I need the whole series to have a freakin conclusion!

Maximo is back for another go!
Maximo vs. Army of Zin is great sequel surpassing the first with better gameplay, and just pure fun! The story is well done. The characters are likeable, and the voice acting is top-notch! The CG cutscenes are incredible!I thought I was watching a movie! The game has better graphics, and combat not to mention it was more easy to save the game. That still does not mean the game is easy.Though not as brutal as the first it was still hard at times. Maximo has an incredible arsenal of new moves, and upgrades. He even gets to wield new weapons.Like the Hammer of Heroes, and you can't lose your shield this time.Which is a plus. This time around Maximo is crushing Zin robots instead of zombies. The robots are well designed, and awesome looking.Maximo looks even better too he has more detail. The musical score is still excellent. The controls are crafted well, and the camera is better.Instead of a hub world you play the levels on a world map screen.Moving from level to level till you get to the end. The levels are a blast to play in,and this time you can save innocents from attacking Zin robots. They reward you if you do.Collecting Koins are now more purposeful as you can use them to buy items, and upgrades, plus new moves from peddlers. There is still a lot of platforming, and a few puzzles to solve. You can also replay the same levels you beat to try,and master them.Which gives this game high replay value. My only gripe about the game is that it consists of only 20 levels. The first one had more.Oh well, Maximo 2 is an excellent achievement, and a game that should be added into your PS2 collection! Though this game may not be for everyone.
