Not for the dimwitted
If you're looking for a game that will have people's guts splattering all over the place, look elsewhere. But if you would like a game with some grace and finesse, this is the place to find that very rare thing.

Pros:
Snappy story and diologue
6 different types of battle
Strategic and non-linear takeover of england

Cons:
If you take too long to beat the game (very possible), it will have gotten old.
Once you get the hang of things it's very easy.
This is an awful game.
I suppose I've been lucky with the games I've played in my life because I've never encountered a game this badly developed before. Nothing is 100% worthless though and there are fleeting peeks at what this game could have been. There is no reason to play this game though unless you received it as a present and then I would suggest any other activity over playing this game. If Gamefly were selling this game, I might contemplate buying it for the pleasure of burning it in my fireplace.

Very interesting game, but the game it way too hard. You also start off in the worst position.

DO NOT RENT
I am still struggling with the idea that a game for a platform like Playstation had the gameplay and graphics of a late eighties computer game. This game is VERY similar to playing a board game. If you have ever played the Monopoly game for Playstation, and you enjoyed it, then you may enjoy this. I conmpare it to Risk, the board game of world domination...except in this game you are only trying to conquer England, and Risk is more fun. The fight scenes consist of telling what types of soldiers (foot soldiers, archers, knights, etc) to attack, and then watching poorly animated boardgame-like peices attack each other in slow motion. DO NOT RENT. Go play Risk instead.
